- Look at this power generator device from DJI. Not only to charge your drone, and photo equipment...
A quick view at solar charging this device ...
For charging with solar panels you need:
A solar panel that fulfills the DJI requirements (see Power 1000 User Manual), and a DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT), and a

Thank you for sharing the information 👍 it was difficult to find a review with the solar charging input. This looks like a good unit, I'm disappointed that they didn't go with a more standard solar charger input. Seems silly to need a dongle for something so integral.
Thanks for this - I was just unboxing mine and trying to figure out how to install the modules on the unit. Thanks!
I did not know DJI made a power station. Looks like good unit and has good specs and price.
wow 18 amperage I got to get a few hook them up at up to 999.99 a pop. thank you for the review hope it works out.
click on my product link, i get you one for 699
Thanks for sharing. Did you try to charge it with portable solar panels instead of those?
No, i didn't use portable panels. I don't think it makes a difference, the ones i use are pretty good. The quality of the panel has nothing to do with being portable or fixed installation.
Great review, and adorable pups! I'm considering using 2 MPPTs with 6 panels - could that yield a 600W solar charge input? That would be quite remarkable!
i recommend downloading the manual. As far as i understand that could be possible with the P1000 model, just the P500 model has a 400W limit.
@@mygiguserp500 has a limit of 300 and power 1000 400watts 1 adapter mppt.
Hi, my 500 dji just arrived and I am using the 120 W solar panel which goes with it. In the shade the solar panel loads with 0 or 1 W....is that normal or something wrong?
that's normal, a solar panel has to see sun in order to work
Has anyone been able to get close to the 400 watts of solar with one MPPT or close to 800 watts with two MPPTs? I have the Power 1000 now but am waiting on the solar panel purchase until someone tries to max it out. The most I have seen so far is Hobotech got it up 250W solar charging on a single port of one MPPT controller.
I dont understand of mppt why its allowed only 16amp f u will used 3 channel, what panel parameter u r using ?
In the moment i use 6x 100W panels with 2 mppt

@@mygiguser wow what is the current of each panel ?
@mygiguser does it have to be on direct sunlight for solar charging? Seems like mine keep getting stucked around at 26v but no input
yes, the panels should be in direct sunlight!
Correction: you can connect up to 3 solar panels that DJI recommends using a 100-watt MPPT adapter, 6 certified 100-watt panels using 2 adapters on the DJI Power Station 1024.
DJI informs that you can connect up to 1 200watt module to a single mppt adapter connection respecting up to 30v and 10a, this way you could use the second connection to connect another 100watt mppt adapter to a maximum of 30v and 6a. I will write below the possible configurations for the DJI 1024:
First configuration:
1 MPPT adapter + 3 original panels or 2 MPPT adapters + 6 original 100watt solar panels.
Second configuration
1 MPPT Adapter:
1- 200watt solar panel up to 30v, 10a maximum.
or
1-200watt solar panel up to 30v and 10a maximum + 1 100watt solar panel up to 30v and 6a maximum.
2 MPPT adapters:
2-Solar panels of 200watts up to 30v and 10a maximum + 2 solar panels of 100watts up to 30v and 6a maximum.
Third configuration:
1-mppt adapter + 3 solar panels of 133watts and up to 30v and 6a to reach 400watts.
2-mppt adapters+6 solar panels of 133watts up to 30v and 6a to reach 800 watts.
