Relay logic controlled Dover tractions are really special. They have a unique ride feel. I'm pretty sure I could tell I'm on one wearing a blindfold and sound-canceling headphones. This one is really neat.
@@DieselDucy The wide angle without distortion is the best part. I have the same function on my Pixel 5. It's like you're watching it with the full depth of your own two eyes instead of the sort of 'boxed in' view you get with standard view.
The elevator is in incredible condition. Also, the phone camera is very nice. With your filming skill the quality is better than some camcorders. I have seen various UA-cam videos where a child moves the camera so quick it doesn't matter how good the camera is...
This is impressive! I can't believe that it's from 1981! What kind of traction motor does this have? Are those traditional buttons or classic? I can't tell the difference
@@DieselDucy oh cool! Do you know what the difference between Dover classic and Dover traditional elevator buttons? Do those kind of motors sound anything like bottom drive traction?
I rode this one at the crack of dawn at one point, and it was beautiful to watch the sunrise from the glass
awesome!

I love the way they ride.
The video quality on this is incredible. Crazy how cell phones went from only doing stills at about 0.2mp, now to 4k and 60+fps video quality.
It is amazing. I love the camera.

@@tophound701 You got that right. Phone cameras have come a long way.
The quality on this vid is excellent.
Thanks :)
It's pretty impressive alright! I also love those traditional buttons as well!
I love this elevator.

Thanks so much for the compliment! I am constantly trying my best to improve as my views are horribly down.
I love this sound!
Me too
Extremel well-maintained for a parking garage elevator
Park Roanoke takes pretty good care of their stuff.
I was on this 2 weeks ago. It runs good!
AWESOME!! You should have come by the museum! or did you?
Beautiful elevator, better than the Gen 2 Series 5 in my apartment
I love this elevator.
wait i think i saw heritage upload riding these lifts ages ago
Yeah. I took him there years ago.
@@DieselDucy ok
Roanoke, Virginia
Yep
This video looks like it was shot in the style of Anton V, if you’ve ever seen his videos
Yes. I’m trying to get my camera skills better.
I wonder what the controller looks like
Me too.

Traditional and geared traction with a motor generator.

@Abhi Iyer I feel like I saw a difference between those 2
@LittleRockElevators oh ok!
Do you think that this elevator will get modded at some point, not that I want it to, I am just curious.
Im sure it will at some point but not really soon.
handheld gaming museum plz its been too long
I will :)
The quality is very good. This elevator still runs pretty good but the floor indicators are starting to burn out
Yeah. They need servicing.
What’s relay logic
Uses mechanical switches over computer control
Hey dieselducy, do you donate elevator fixtures to your fans?
When they come visit the museum usually they go home with something.
Nice elevator. Too bad the bell doesn't work :(
I have never heard it. I bet it is epic.
@@DieselDucy It probably has the old Dover mechanical Bell.
