    Yeah mate i needed a bigger car because most parks dont cut the grass and its too much for the Tamiya cars. But i have a nice park like yours that do cut the grass and its like a bowling green it must have a decent grounds man. HPI are great for the money and that rally car will run sweet with abit of tuning.

      Good to know. I bought two Maverick brand RC's and one was broken when I took it out the box in two places. Luckily the Rally car has same part so I could borrow it from this. Just waiting for a break in the weather so I can take it out. Want a 4s Truggy or Buggy next. I like the look of the new Team Corally. But also like the look of The Maverick Muscle car in blue.

    Does look a great buggy, i think you need to hit a gravel track with it 👌

      Already taped up the body ready. The place I go is more pebbles rather than gravel. Its going to eat the body up good lol.

      @@FullOnRC pmsl, will be fun doing it 👍 this makes me want to order the carisma M48 Audi when its in stock. The body looks killer 👌

    My mates got one of these. It is mental. Mega fast. Crazy grip on the tyres. I was amazed at the low price .

    I got one of these. I put a gyro and a 35kg high speed servo in and this thing is a blast to drive on 4S.

      @FullOnRC  2 місяці тому

      Yerhhh I thought about a gyro after this run. Has yours had much run on grass. If so what's it like?

      @@FullOnRC i use it on the road mainly. I have a kraton 4s for off road. I also have stiffened the suspension so the car roll a little less under braking/steering, that also stops the body from scraping the ground.

      What weight oil did you use? Do you use stock tires on tarmac?@@simracingchannel7691

      @@FullOnRC i have 60wt now with the spring tensioners all the way down almost and that is already allot better but might try some thicker still.
      Yeah i use the stock tires on the road but they wear quickly and not allot of grip lol, ordered some road tire from Aliexpress will have to see if they fit and last.

      Are Arrma Hoons the same size? Was looking at a set of silvers as my stock tires were worn more than expected after this run.@@simracingchannel7691

    Nice one! I have been looking at these lately for a first 1/8 scale. Looks like they fixed the drive cup issue. I kept seeing people lose front or rear wheel drive because the grub screws were not secured. Do they still have metal bearings or rubber sealed ones now? Heard that was another issue with these rigs. I'm not trying to be negative, just sharing what I've seen so far. I hope it's a solid rally car 🙏 you guys got a sweet deal over there with that one. Because of extra shipping cost to the states, it's more practical to go for the Carisma imo.

      Yerhh metal bearings. I seen vids of the drive pin issue. I'm happy with this car overall. I didn't get to drive it much yet tbh. Hope to get it out soon. It seems like a decent brand, I know the wishbones can be weak and personally it has a few questionable design choices. I will probably do a few more videos on it and talk about them. Sucks about postage to the USA.

      @@FullOnRC Yup, it looked like she ran good in the video and it shouldn't take much to make it a solid car, like others have said

      You need to loctite the grub screws or you will loose drive. And the bearings are metal sealed.

    Maverick is no different than any other RC brand they have a drift truck in the same configuration as the rally car you have just different wheels, tires, and body just like Traxxas

      I know all manufactures do it, I just don't want to fill my garage with Variants from the same manufacture like I did with Arrma last time I got into the larger scale RC's.
