I’ve got the Hobao VTE and it handles like it is on rails. For anyone who hasn’t tried a 1/8 GT car, it’s highly recommended. It’s built like a tank too.
Not at all a fan of the wheels but i dig this thing. Ive noticed, in reference to RC cars, they're always toe'd in SUPER aggressively on the rear and toe'd out on the front. That creates unbelievably unstable and twitchy handling. I adjust every single RC car i own to 0° of toe in the rear and just a dab of toe in up front. Toe in up front will make it much more stable in a straight line. Just a very slight amount though. Im talking like half to three quarters of a degree. I also normally lay the front negative camber in about 3° and zero out the rear. It also helps if you run much, much thicker shock oil in the rear dampers only. Which effectively slows the rebound WAY down. It really settles that snap oversteer down a lot and allows for more predictable weight transfer. Companies always give you much, much too hard of a spring rate. If you can get your rc car to actually weight transfer nicely, man, it makes an astronomical difference. You can get a ton of vertical support through the dampers alone. This is with ON ROAD stuff only. Do not do this to your kraton, xrt, xmaxx, none of them. You need toe out in the front and toe in on the rear in dirt. You need that really aggressive response with steering input on the dirt. It helps rotate the car then you simply stand on the throttle and let 'er eat after the apex.
@@east_ldnrc1378 thanx!!! Lotta years in the industry. RC cars are just small cars after all. As long as suspension geometry is relatively accurate and not some toy grade nonsense were all able to test ideas and theories on rc cars and not have to worry about wadding up our pride and joy.

With a bit of trimming, would that bodie fit the arrma senton? Or is this a dum question..?
hmmm... maybe, it's pretty wide
So, it could be a cool rally boddy for the senton or do you know beter options?
No it wont fit, the Senton wheelbase is only 327mm. The hobao wheelbase is 361mm, just tried my Hobao Hyper 8SC body which is also 361mm wheelbase on my Senton & its way to big.
@@gillian9178 thanx dude.
“is niyyyyssee!!!”
habao is a manufacturer that doesn't get e ough credit. the stuff awesome and bullet proof. we have a couple of sste truggies and never had anything go wrong with them
Yes agree.. they need more credit for sure
100%
OFNA/HoBao are World Champions so they know how to do stuff but they underrated in my opinion
