    Great job with your video production! It's a great mixture of B-roll, talking head, information, and explanations! Plus, anytime I see Tamiya, I'm transported to my youth!

    I relocated the top shock mounts on the rear
    To where the wing mounts. by mounting the wing bracket at the front of the tower and the shocks at the rear
    So it brings the top of the shock lower and towards the centre putting it on more of an angle
    The front I mounted the top shock mounts in front of the tower with the turn buckles just need longer bolts
    So you can use the full suspension travel instead of having most of the travel going higher than the bottom of the chassis

      Awesome mate, will have to try some of these tips when I'm on track next and see how it performs....👍

    Great video, mate! Yeah, I think my TT-02B is pretty similar to yours, I am missing the upgrade shock towers, gotta get them someday, he he! Especially good choice on the steering upgrades, in my opinion the most important, take out as much slop as possible of the steering rack... I'm looking forward to see some more with this, how you like to drive it... Now over to Scaleworks, see that speedrun!

      Thanks so much mate, i haven't driven the car yet i took it to the track today but was too muddy, will try again next week, hopefully with the upgrades we will able to do laps without too much trouble will have to wait and see, yes Scaleworks inspired us with his speed run to get the TT02B built sooner rather than later, amazing work, will need to check yours out too soon😃👍

    Nice build and video! One comment: you may consider using thicker oil in the front vs. the rear instead.

    • @rcbloka
      @rcbloka  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks so much mate, yep for sure will consider oil, springs ,want to take it on the track first to see how it does and see what we need to fine tune, definitely going to need tyres 🙂👍

      Thanks so much mate, awesome entry level car to start with and upgrade , the loads of upgrades made these cars so popular , just need to see now if this car cuts it on the track for practice 😀👍

    • @rcbloka
      @rcbloka  6 місяців тому +1

      Mate I just got some track time with this car and the turn buckle set makes it a must, being able to tune camber and toe in /out and steering is a huge advantage 😀👍

    2 internal spacers in the rear and zero in the front. You will actually be able to jump it.
    I followed the dt-02 shock build instructions.

    • @rcbloka
      @rcbloka  6 місяців тому

      That's awesome thanks so much man, will look into it , first will see how it goes on the track with these upgrades and then will fine tune, thanks again for the tip, cheers 😀👍

    This car is basically the same as the DF02 from the early 2000's

    • @rcbloka
      @rcbloka  6 місяців тому +1

      Cheers mate yes I think the layout is similar , both entry level but I think the DF02 has some slightly better components like the gears, I haven't built one yet so I can't confirm, but both are a step under the DF03 😀👍

    • @thegreattreon0177
      @thegreattreon0177 6 місяців тому

      @rcbloka I have a DF02 Gravel Hound and the only real difference I see is the battery tray but everything else is almost identical

  • @hendrahendra
    @hendrahendra 3 місяці тому +1

    I'm 3 months late, but its better if the DF03 is brushed and the TT02B is Brushless.

    • @rcbloka
      @rcbloka  3 місяці тому

      Cheers mate, I think somewhere down the track we might put a brushless motor in there to see the difference ,first want to compare how the different chassis handle around the track..but your right a brushless setup on the TT02B would be awesome 👌
