Ok so basically you don't know. You are just repeating what everyone already know. Hate these type of troubleshooting videos. None of what you said works still unable to cast either from phone or tablet.
Every video I’ve found about phone connection problems turns out to be about connecting the headrest to the oculus app running on the phone. My headset interacts a with the app on my phone just fine. What doesn’t work on either the 3 or the 2, is the in-headset phone notification. If I get a text message or a call on my phone, this is supposed to register in the headset, and notify me in vr in some way. This simply doesn’t happen, never seen it, never seen any video demonstrate it, never seen it brought up in reviews, or dealt with as being an issue that anyone else has described or resolved.
@@halfbakedpotato4977 nope, I relentlessly had to keep trying till it got connected to wifi. Once it did it worked flawlessly from there on. No issues till now
@Spirit_YT055 @keremturhan1250 Are you wearing the headset the whole time it connects or leaving it aside? If you take it off your head then after a few seconds the screen goes black and whatever it was doing stops. If so, try just wearing the headset until it connects. Let me know if you need any other help. :>
Go into "Settings", "Devices" and right at the top should be a little box saying there's a new update (if there isn't, then it's already up to date). The very first option in the list to tap on is the update button (if there is an update to be done).

My headset was connected but it went off the connected list on the meta phone app and now I go to connect it but it still thinks it’s connected

Bluetooth must be On for my phone and that fixed the problem. The setup didn't mention Bluetooth needs to be on, well done Meta 🤦🏼♂️
how do I update the headset when I can't even get past the setup screen!?

Factory reset of the device. Connect to Wi-Fi. Update the headset and then try and pair

Turning on Bluetooth on my phone fixed the problem instantly.
I just cant reconnect the headset to my phone which the headset has other accounts and my account. I just want to connect my phone to it.

When I’m connecting my quest 3 to the mobile app, after I type in my headset code it keeps saying “try again.” Anybody know how to fix this?🙏

I've tried all these and the issue was really the Bluetooth was off on my phone.
i broke it while i was paying with this issues... dissapointed
