@@MrVariant Vampire Survivor is nothing new really, we had plenty of flash-games and warcraft 3 custom games in the same genre. They just managed to hit the jackpot probably with the slot-machine background the dev had.

After playing through a large majority of this dlc, I really wanted to come back and say just how much I love poncle's art style for this classic series in this trailer. I don't think a single character looks out of place and some of them I would say look better than they ever have.

Pricing this MEGA COLLAB at only $4 is an outright insane concept, I cannot even imagine the time and logistics that went into creating a DLC exactly like this, you guys deserve way more than that especially considering the legacy that Vampire Survivors has had up to this point. Congratulations! Somehow I feel like this is a momentous occasion for you guys, having come from being inspired by Castlevania to now featuring a full-blown crossover with the actual series.
I've been playing this game since it's origins, and i can say i'm so proud of how much it has grown. From using assets of Castlevania to now doing a true full collab with it.

When a game made to (lovingly) parody something is acknowledged by the target of the parody, you know it has to be great! Excellent job poncle, this looks amazing!
This is easily the best Castlevania collab ever, the amount of characters, enemies and music referenced from across the franchise is amazing, usually we only get stuff from SotN, CV3 and CV1 but seeing elements from games like Bloodlines, CV64 and Order of Ecclesia really show the amount of love the devs out into this crossover.
I bought this little obscure game a day or two after release. Was very barebones but surprisingly addictive in its simplicity. Then it exploded, created a new genre and now it's this....enormous mess of stuff. I need to get back into it for sure.
You just know how much he's been waiting for this since he's only done 8 or 12 characters for his DLCs but he does THE ENTIRE Castlevania roster for this one!
I can't even begin to describe how incredibly happy this makes me. Vampire Survivors was already THE definitive successor to Castlevania with it's vibe, aesthetics and characters but this just solidifies it on a whole different level. Definently getting this the moment it's avaivable. Thank you so much for the hard work, and this absolutely beautiful trailer.

This is easily the best Castlevania collab ever, the amount of characters, enemies and music referenced from across the franchise is amazing, usually we only get stuff from SotN, CV3 and CV1 but seeing elements from games like Bloodlines, CV64 and Order of Ecclesia really show the amount of love the devs out into this crossover.

I bought this little obscure game a day or two after release. Was very barebones but surprisingly addictive in its simplicity. Then it exploded, created a new genre and now it's this....enormous mess of stuff. I need to get back into it for sure.

Vampire Survivors was already THE definitive successor to Castlevania with it's vibe, aesthetics and characters but this just solidifies it on a whole different level.
