@@Fingleberrys by the way you talk I see you get the wrong informations from youtubers like jim sterling, the pachinko conversion of konami has always been a lie, in fact pachislots machines were made by KPE that now doesn't even exist anymore and it's replaced by konami amusement, the one making videogames is konami digital entertainment, that never ceased to make games but focused more on japanese market making great success with the momotaro dentetsu and pawafuru puro yakyuu series for example, obiviously jim sterling never said this and never even made a simple internet research to know about this fact, he was more focused on selling that merch and getting his patreon bucks from people hating konami, in the last years konami has always grown so there was no financial collapse as you say, these branches of konami operate separately, if anything konami switched from home console focus to mobile for a while and then came back to console when had enough money to establish new development studios, they actually built an all new building entirely filled with new studios but jim sterling and youtubers will never tell you this.
@@videogiochissimo4652 May i remind you about Metal Gear Survive? That game that was awful due to being an online-only game that had save slots on purchase for 10$? I know that it was a spin-off game, but man, it was bad. Or what about Contra: Rogue Corps? Or eFootball? Or even that mess that happened between Konami and Hideo Kojima? Or heck, what about that travesty when they announced Castlevania-themed NFTs on its 35th anniversary, or that Silent Hill Ascension thing with its microtransactions? As much as Konami is an alright company when it comes to most of its games, it's hard to not criticize them when they pull stuff like that. Besides, not like Konami cares much about Jim Sterling... I mean, Konami allowed Poncle to make the Contra DLC before this one.
Not a good idea to criticize Jim STEPHANIE Sterling, who is a gorgeous multiple people person and an oppressed minority. You iiterally misgendered Steph, and that is the equivalent of .mur.der. If the world would just wake up from their bigoted capitalist bubble, we could have a true Communist utopia were trans people and other minorities can finally rule as they are meant to. This game would have been ten times better if this was the case.
@@bombtails I'm aware of those games and I have to say that metal gear survive had the same exact one save system of MGSV and while overpriced the extra save slots are totally unnecessary to complete the game and are payed also in similar games like monster hunter, so I ask myself why monster hunter was universally praised and no one seem to care about that aspect while MGSurvive was treated like it was the only game doing that and the most terrible game around, while it's a perfectly competent game with story mode and multiplayer sold at budget price? there was obviously some grifting based judgemet about it trying to exploit the disappointment of silent hills cancellation and the separation of kojima and konami controversy, Jim Sterling didn't even play the game properly, for his own admission he stopped playing after a couple of hours, which in a game with a long presentation and based on levelling and crafting equals to not playing the game at all, also if you watch his video review you can notice how he has all the lowest graphic settings on purpose and almost all the images are zoomed in to make it look as bad as possible, about contra rogue corps maybe wasn't the classic contra that people wanted, but it was an attempt by director Nakazato (Contra III, Contra: Hard Corps and Neo Contra) to make something new since he already made the original ones and saw no point in making another more of the same, konami then commissioned contra operation galuga to wayforward and that was good and obviously Sterling never mentioned that game, about efootball, on launch yes it was a mess that launched too early but now it has improved a lot with continuous updating and it's a perfectly valid alternative to EA sports FC with better gameplay even if a bit scarce in single player modes, which is amazing if you think that is playable for free. Out of all the silent hill projects you mention the only one that was bad, silent hill 2 remake has been already released with great success and 2 more games (silent hill f and silent hill townfall) and a movie are already announced so I honestly don't see how a silent hill fan could be disappointed right now, also notice how Sterling as a self proclaimed silent hill expert deemed bloober team unfit for the remake and instead of being happy for being wrong when the game proved to do justice to the original, in his review he gave the credit of it to consultants (biggest cope ever lol) and not to bloober developers, so Jim Sterling is really very much in bad faith when talking about Konami.
