There's something insanely funny about "a flawless piece of worthless glass" like, yeah it's worthless, but look how well someone cut it to look like a gem!
Big tip: once you get the light spell spam it on and off, its the cheapest spell, but with it you can power level both casting skills up to basically half way to max
@@wanderbots yes you can! Such a game changer. Though watch out, theres a portion of the community that gets quite vile when you disable the minotaur. Not sure why. People should play games the way they want to, and its a option within the game so I don't see the issue.
Whenever you start a new level the first room is *mostly safe, use this as a drop off point to leave behind any items you are not using/are not active use. Before you drop down a level come back and grab a full load out of the most valuable items. You can generally come back up later, so this can let you bank items for shop sales at a later date.
You can use empty flasks on fountains for a safer way to use them, although it turns off some of the crazy OP events, but using up fountains can be amazingly good as it can drop super magically items rarely (like +5 rings and stuff)
Im glad you are playing barony. I just got it myself thanks to you and splattercat covering it. Still have to figure out my preferred build because I'm still getting wrecked on the first level.
At 1:44:35 there was a breakable wall and several other locations near there had them as well, if a “wall/pillar” is not “smooth and full” its breakable. Use a spell to break it, you dont get exp for hitting it with weapons but it massively breaks weapons, spells also bypass the armor
Was thinking about the "EXP" thing myself. What comes to my mind is saying "E-X-P" takes just as long as saying "experience" while "X-P" is phonetically shorter...however...who tf cares what you call it. EXP sounds cool
I love watching your diversity on Games and find such games like Barony for my self becasue saw it on ur Videos :D I suggest you to go and do the Trials, espezially the Trap and Magic one ( If u havent becasue ur not useing it to ur full possebilitys) Please more of it and dont care about the length :P Solo or in ur Group its realy ncie to see that kind of Videos
As someone who enjoys playing brewer, generally you can copy almost any potion by using a base of water then combining it with a potion you wish to duplicate, there are however certain potions which are too unstable such as poison. Also you never really need that many gems. Even if you were able to appraise them all generally you don’t need that much money and it’s better to just carry less weight or more equipment like books, staves and scrolls
I am sure the sex change necklace thing comes from a bunch of different fantasy tropes. However, the place I remember it most fondly and made sense was in runescape. There is a knight that "no man can harm". So you had to swap genders if you created a male character to kill the knight and complete the quest.
If you want to kill the minotaur you should use lightning staffs because he takes more damage from it. Sometimes the zap brigade can spawn aswell and they'll help you kill the minotaur.
Ironically if you do use up the spell books and magic staffs you do get exp for casting and magic with barely any cost if you don’t care about selling them afterwards.
Somewhere in the first 7-8 minutes there's a wall that you can break down? Idk if that's a game mechanic, but it looked like you could. Edit: looks like it is, he ends up breaking it a bit after 14:15
ive been playing this game for over 3 or 4 years, havn't touched it in a while but it looks like it got some fun new updates, the UI is a bit different than i remember lol
Game is easy af once you figure out every aspect of combat etc. i have 200h, and i love how you are not just holding your left click. Just hold left click lol.
Wander how did you randomly find the "Secret" boss fight! I thought you needed all the secret gem things to activate that but i guess not. Good job nonetheless but still im dumbfounded.
@@wanderbots yup, the normal one just has demons and imps helping him as well as he shoots bursts of 8-9 lighting spells at you. Its still hard but Its not as hard as the one you fought. You just have to avoid secret levels that send you to the underworld and after the castle area you were in you'll reach his boss floor.

I mean, costume jewlery is a huge industry. Ratners made millions selling it.
Big tip: once you get the light spell spam it on and off, its the cheapest spell, but with it you can power level both casting skills up to basically half way to max
I really recommend turning Minotaur off, he basically forces you to skip half the levels so just turn him off
You can turn him off???!?
Scuse You??? 🥲 Could I have made my games 80% easier
You can also turn off hunger, but doing so disables hp regen. There is an arachnophobia setting too (CRAB).

Never found where that option is
"overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer" - somebody played Darkest dungeon i see
That one-liner is baked into my brain.
@@wanderbots it's such a good one to say too

👀 3 Hours
I'm watching it all!!!
The boulders didn't get me, so now I'm (mostly) immortal.

I absolutely love high tier low poly art styles like this
yes more barony! and 3 hours of it too! just picked up this game during the winter sale and i love it. so brutally hard, but it's so good.
looks fun! ... kinda diggin the chilly music for a dungeon crawler ^^

How did I not know about this game! This game looks like great fun
So glad this game finally came to switch
Cool to see you cover it now that I can actually play!
Well, this was the longest I've EVER seen a Barony run go. Almost thought this wasn't possible by the everyday human. O wait, this is a WanderBOT! 😆
nonono, he was playing the automaton on the multiplayer run, this one he is a human! (jk) ;P
I keep wanting to get this game so im glad i get to see single-player content so i can see it befor i buy

Damn 32 mins or so into this guessing my mans had a hella time with Goldeneye 😅
RIP GWEN

I love this game, I'm a lootaholic and this will be awesome
It's more fun with multiplayer can now I can have -packmules- party memebers
1:13:30 my pain when he brewed firestorm into sickness. I wanted you to see how powerful brewing could be.
7m22s You can hold your spell book/equip it then cast it using space (or other related buttons if on controllers). Even having not learnt it.
Been playing this for a month now so good
Wow, this game support split screen!
Finally something to play with the young ones!
The green staff you threw out was a magistaff, and a spellstaff, you should have used it to level spell casting
I really enjoy this game, picked it up on the switch release and I’ve only had fun since
This is me when I see a UA-camr that is popular playing this game YES YES YES
the open spell works on those iron gates too btw 😉
Gameusic reminds me of the days of playing kings field with my dad

those guys are Goated and recruitable!

I love this game, but it is so tough haha. Can be better with friends, but the lack of resources when shared can hurt.

There are a TON of great mods that add fun bonus content to the game.
which do you recommend?
@@andyeban not at my pc at the moment, but when i get to it ill post a list for ya
This style reminds me of the original doom with a dnd esk feel. Cute.
Yo it's Barony! I play waaaay to much of this with my friend. and I mean way to much.
If hunger is off powerleveling becomes even more OP than normal haha.
Some walls can be hidden doors, you sometimes need to check the pattern on the wall closely
Just wait until you manage to find a blessed magic lantern, talk about full bright mode haha

I would say that a non-speed runner, standard time on this is likely about 4-8 hours for a winning run,
We need more 3 hr vods wonder 😊☺️
Class game. Brutal but fun

Please do a magic/ wizard run next 😁
"Opening" Magic can open gates without problems, Unless you are in a antimagic protected area and those are rare.
In fact the only area I remember is a Kobold Cult Secret Area Much later on.
You should play FTL multiverse!
I'd rather see what his "rough day" looked like.
love me a quick daggerfall run - the unity overhaul still looks great !
My brother just went to hell, the hardest way to end the game
Getting strong Curse of Dragor vibes… wow, I just dated myself lol
I dont like it after the QOD. They removed some of the leveling tricks that made certain builds viable.
Way too many ads
