Und zwar mit einer Extra-Portion Kommentare! Was haben sie von Marilyn Manson gestohlen, was halten sie eigentlich von Rammstein - und wo sind ihre Augenbrauen hin?
Lord of The Lost is certainly not a band that is not controversial - be it the look, the sound or their confident appearance.
What they have to do with Marilyn Manson, what they think of Rammstein or where their eyebrows have disappeared to, they explain in today's episode of "Alle Hassen .."

Yes, Lord of the Lost did it and won the ESC preliminary in Germany!! They represent Germany in Liverpool and I am proud of this! Great song and even greater band!! LOTL rocks!!

Eine saugeile Band und macht auch noch richtig gute Musik :D Nein im Ernst, Lord of the Lost sind einfach klasse. Dazu kommt, dass die auch noch selbstironisch sein können und das Herz am richtigen Fleck haben. Bin gespannt auf Swan Songs III und auf das kommende neue Album weil Thornstar war schon ein richtig gutes Album.
Ihr bei Eurovision, das wäre mal was - "Lordi of the Lost" 😁

They made a comment along the lines of: "Maybe they think Rammstein is the only band in Germany?" As a North American, I can honestly say that to most people, yes, Rammstein IS the only German band we are ever exposed to. Unfortunately, not many European bands get air time over here.
Luckily for me, I'm a nerd and I'm happy listening to what most people I know just can't understand or wrap their mind around--because they have never heard anything like it before. (So to them, it can't possibly be good.) I personally like songs that DON'T sound like they are top 40 and so I am always looking for new stuff here on UA-cam. I only stumbled upon European metal about a year and a half ago. I fell instantly in love with it! (This is where my nerd self comes through: I am happy to say, I know so LITTLE about it, that I am not influenced by what other people think I SHOULD decide is good. I just like what I like by how it sounds.)
Anyways, I'm glad there is more than one band from Germany! (and a shout out to Mono Inc. who led to to not only LOTL, but also Joachim Witt and Tilo Wolff.)

Exactly. I'm from US and most people think that Rammstein is the only one band in Germany, which sucks a lot...
so many amazing German bands... What a shame.
We have a lot of bands here in Germany. But somehow they can't get beyond Germany and neighboring countries.

Check out Dark Fortress (also German). They are doing their last tour ever soon, but they are/were an amazing melodic Black Metal band with amazing albums.
@@OhyesIdid1 You're right. I'm from NZ and started out listening to Rammstein. OOMPH! came up on my Spotify recommendations, and it just went from there. It opened my ears to the best music I have ever heard. I don't listen to anything else anymore.

I love this band and respect their music approach. They don’t fear to play and experiment with other form of music. Music is art, and they’re good on it.

It’s true the only band That’s from Germany or industrial metal that Americans have heard is Rammstein. Anything that is from Germany or industrial metal must be Rammstein.I’m from the US and I listen to all sorts of German bands and love the music that comes from that part of the world. I drive for Uber and anytime a song on my playlist comes up from BlutEngel, Lord of the Lost, Funker Vogt and even And One, people ask me if this is Rammstein. I’ve never been asked if it was a different band, it’s always Rammstein.

Hab die Jungs mal durch Zufall live gesehen. War zwar nicht 100%ig meins,was die Musik angeht. Aber die Jungs haben ne verdammte geile Show hingelegt. Daumen hoch an die Jungs von Lords of the Lost!

Sorry! I can't think of anything insulting for a t-shirt. I enjoy their music very much. At worst they are sweet and adorable, at best drop dead sexy. They are very entertaining on and off stage. TV of the Lost is a guaranteed smile every time you watch an episode. The Lord-shop takeovers are entertaining as well. The Lordcasts are great listening practice. I admit I do miss the live Instagram Q and As. I can't wait for the SS III release concert! My first Lord of the Lost concert.😊

Hab gar nicht gewusst das Lotl Deutsche sind. Die Jungs sind irgendwann im Mai in meinem UA-cam Mix aufgetaucht und ich muss sagen, da hat der Algorithmus mal recht gehabt mit dem Vorschlag.
Zumindest kann ich mal auf nen Konzert denke ich, im Hellraiser (Leipzig) oder Hirsch (Nürnberg). Sofern diese Corona Scheisse mal vorbei ist.

Jetzt mal ohne Quatsch, aber wenn es um Harmonien und Atmosphere geht, sind die Jungs mit "Lorelei" ganz weit oben. Ich muss mir noch mehr von denen anhoehren.

I never understand the comparison to Rammstein. They are completely different. Different sound, different stage presence, different look, sing in different languages. So let me try to understand... because you’re a German metal/rock band, that means you are trying to copy Rammstein? 🤔 huh. Interesting logic. I’d love to see most of these asswipes write lyrics, create music and jump up on stage and preform and entertain people.
They have so many songs with so many melodies. Maybe it was a comment for one of their old songs.

What's happening here is Lord Of The Lost is getting so big there is becoming a more broader range of listeners and therefore you have the "haters" I do not see how people think they sound like Rammstein??? I've listened to Rammstein since 1998, and Lord Of The Lost since 2011 and see no comparison at all. For the rest of the commenters go listen to Motionless In White or a real shitty band like that or something. The Conway Twitty dude on here commenting, how did you even find this band with a name like that? You should be just listening to CUNTry music, not metal. I personally love Lord Of The Lost. So on the subject of them being a boy band and such, when are we going to get a studio release of Everybody? They kill that track and I wish there were better alternatives than the variable quality live performances folks have uploaded to youtube. Not that I'm not grateful because I never would've known they did it otherwise, but I'd love to have them record in studio and throw it up on bandcamp or put it out as a single.
