I actually like having poor sound isolation on my earbuds so I can hear what’s going on around me and can hear when my mom calls me from across the house 50 times per day.
it's just a preference thing, I hate poor noise isolation but it is useful to be aware of things around you, and if that's something that's actually necessary then that's a "feature" if you wanna call it that that I would look for in my next pair of wireless earbuds

One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
Max Raderer im a tradesman by profession so basically i could care less how i dress. And all i wear is cargo pants. So these headphones have not been a problem for me

The audio quality for the Sennheisers is spectacular, superb; even. The call quality is horrible, like really not good. These were very uncomfortable to wear after about 1/2 hour. The battery issues also still plagues it. I had to return them, sadly.
I will say that having these without noise cancelation is a better thing to have. I say this because if you are running or in the public , you still can be aware of your surroundings. I just bought my beats for $199 at target. So far so good. I did have to change the treble and bass in my settings on my Note 9. Pairing was easy and simple. I enjoy these as i had the previous beats for a couple of years and just happy with the product
No, that sounds like Post-Purchase Dissonance. ANC (active noise cancelation) also works in reverse by allowing noise passthrough (aka Transparency mode) or even amplification. So lacking ANC isn't a "better thing" at all, its straight up worse. When i got these things and found out they lacked that feature they went right back for a refund.
Of course I'd rather see a review of the sennheisers. Platform agnostic and with a possibility of good sound? In every way that is more interesting then beats.
I've not yet tried the powerbeats pro but I have tried the Sennheisers (my friend's) and they're not great. They're not particularly comfortable, they fall out easily and they only last 10-12 hours even with the charging case, whereas these Beats last 24 hours.
I have the momentum true wireless, I got them for 150 which takes the price issue away entirely. They are my daily earbud, I have a tons of other true wireless but these work fantastic!!! They do have a weird battery drain issue when I’m the case though, the earbuds have god battery but it’s just a weird issue that could get fixed with a software update.
In my experience with these type of fitting headphones, they interfere with my glasses. They're quite annoying to wear. If you have thin arm bands (like thin titanium ones found on Nike glasses, or Aviators), then they may be fine. If you have armbands more like Rayban Wayfarers, then they'll definitely be irritating.
How are they: 1)with glasses 2)with motorcycle helmet 3)with wind noise when running/cycling - as they let sound in they would be great for these activities if the wind noise arent bad like on bose soundsport

If you're looking for some solid headphones, JBL Reflect Contour 2. I've tried multiple headphones but these were the best performing and you get good sound quality (See RTings.com review of "JBL Reflect" it's basically the same, only without hooks.)
I have the 450s and can say that they are very good for the price. The only shortcomings are the decent but not great noise cancellation to be expected at this price point and microusb as opposed to type C. Overall fantastic headphones for anyone on a budget.
If you have the budget for the 4.50, I’d say save up a little more and get the PXC550. I have the 550 and my brother has the 4.50, the difference in clarity is huge

i was the same as you until I got my beatsx and to be honest their earbuds sound really good. Its not that muffled sound that you remember from beats products actually the highs are pretty good and the bass is nice in the background with the music. And if you are an apple user its just great.

I bought 200€ Beats Solo HD when i was 14 and had not so much money because i thought there were good because many people wear them. I was dissapointed. Now I have the Audio Technica ATH-AR5BT for 200€ and they are MUCH BETTER

I just returned these yesterday. Nothing beats my Plantronics Backbeat FIT headphones for sound and comfort, and they last a week with a one hour workout every day, or about 7-8 hours continuous which is more than enough for sports earphones.
That's only true with pop or hip hop, you will hate these when listening to like rock, jazz, blues or other types.of music that is more heavy on the mids, ideally you want the bass mids and highs to be the same level

I find my Powerbeats 3 wireless headphones great for working out, but they are a HUGE problem for me when running. They are always coming loose or falling out and it’s the most annoying thing. Will these have the same problem or are they designed better so that’s not an issue?

The big case is not problem, they do best sitting safely on a shelf where they will not get bumped or jostled in any way. Not in a pocket. They have been nothing but a hassle, they lose connection in the case and go dead searching for something to connect to. I still have them, but usually reach for my Powerbeats 3's when I want them to, you know, work.

While I love PowerBeat products and have owned several over the years, i gotta say that it would be difficult for to go from the Jabra back to the PowerBeats just because of the size. nice, but they wouldnt be my daily drivers, definitely not for my gym activity. As far as the ultra portable Bluetooth headphones go I ended up going with the AirPods recently, although I am a little pissed that the AirPods pro jusy got released, I heard rumors but was expecting it to be more into 2020 and wanted the AirPods for at work. However I still love my sennheiser pxc 550 headphones, but they can get pretty uncomfortable wearing them for hours on end at work, but still not an ounce of regret picking those up.

Ehm, but these don't try to go into the ear, they should fit anybody. Also, just get a proper wireless headphone where you can't lose half of it.

I just returned these yesterday. Nothing beats my Plantronics Backbeat FIT headphones for sound and comfort, and they last a week with a one hour workout every day, or about 7-8 hours continuous which is more than enough for sports earphones.

That's only true with pop or hip hop, you will hate these when listening to like rock, jazz, blues or other types.of music that is more heavy on the mids, ideally you want the bass mids and highs to be the same level

I find my Powerbeats 3 wireless headphones great for working out, but they are a HUGE problem for me when running. They are always coming loose or falling out and it’s the most annoying thing. Will these have the same problem or are they designed better so that’s not an issue?

The big case is not problem, they do best sitting safely on a shelf where they will not get bumped or jostled in any way. Not in a pocket.
They have been nothing but a hassle, they lose connection in the case and go dead searching for something to connect to.
I still have them, but usually reach for my Powerbeats 3's when I want them to, you know, work.
You guys should review the Jabra Elite wireless earbuds. They are very good
Zachary Taylor i own a pair Jabra Elite Actives. While I love PowerBeat products and have owned several over the years, i gotta say that it would be difficult for to go from the Jabra back to the PowerBeats just because of the size. nice, but they wouldnt be my daily drivers, definitely not for my gym activity. I sold on the size, sound and comfort of my Jabras. Nice PB Pro review tho👌🏾

I'd love a review of the Sennheiser set. My favorite brand by far.
As far as the ultra portable Bluetooth headphones go I ended up going with the AirPods recently, although I am a little pissed that the AirPods pro jusy got released, I heard rumors but was expecting it to be more into 2020 and wanted the AirPods for at work.
However I still love my sennheiser pxc 550 headphones, but they can get pretty uncomfortable wearing them for hours on end at work, but still not an ounce of regret picking those up.
Beats: we’ve came on top!
