Used a variety of these old wobbly's to load grape bins by myself back in the day, jeez, ya'd be up and down like a strippers knickers un hookin each bin usually 9 on a load, good job changin the old filters over!!👍
Thanks for sharing Dave! Neat fix on the fuel system, looks like it could've been original👌 Hopefully no more diesel patches when you're lifting about truck stuff. Cheers, Mike
Hey Dave ,pretty solid old unit ,nice job on the filter upgrade,as you have said can get those filter replacements anywhere and a good cheap option, keep up the good work 👍🇦🇺
It’s hard to find any information or literature about these old cranes, but there seemed to be plenty of them around. Another good Australian company gone.
Gday Dave, that housing certainly don’t look outa place, them cranes were very popular in there day to, there’s a good embroidery company down here I use and good prices if you need mate, top job, cheers
I used to drive this same tractor when I was a kid on the farm in the late 60's ad early 70's. Was a great work horse. Do you know if any other models/breeds also had those agricultural disc brake system?
Did you have a super major on the farm Steve? Or do you mean you drove this tractor? It has disc brakes on the front axle but it’s been disconnected for a long time by the look of it
It’s an easy filter assembly to find mate. Ryco and Donaldson and all the filter manufacturers make a similar unit. It seems to be a good fix and it fitted straight onto the bolt pattern of the old housing.
G'day Dave. You've done it now bloke. You'll have to clean the rest of the old girl up now to match the new filter cobber.😂🤠
You might be right mate, it’s due for a decent clean and polish
Nice fuel system upgrade Dave, she's running good now. Cheers from Canada!
Always very interesting Dave thanks for sharing 🦘

Yes I reckon it’s a good fix, and I’ve been using it this week with no leaks or problems so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
i recall cranes like this in bundaberg back years ago they used to use them at the frames and trusses place and other places.

That's not a bad idea. My old Fordson crane is leaking pretty bad from the fuel filter I might have to do the same
