"You know the place in Skyrim where there is a Hunter standing on top of a log?" I have played Skyrim since it came out in 2011 and I have never in my life seen that.
lol i know about that one. it's in falkreath close to an unmarked location so aptly dubbed "the scorched pond" because of how dried out that little wateringhole is. there arent even any mudcrabs there either. because it's so dry that there is no mud even. strange come to think of it, it's in falkreath, also known as the wettest Hol(e)d in all of skyrim. ironic isnt it? but yeah, this hunter standing on a sitting log is due north of that little unmarked pond. iirc it is somewhere inbetween knifepoint ridge and cracked tusk keep.
@@zerrierslizer1 You are talking about a completely different area, this area is off track as you head from Whiterun to Riften once you head past the ruin to your left that sits like a bridge across the water then down the incline, before you get to the dark water crossing intersection you head right off road and if you go up enough you will have to cross that log to get across to continue towards Ivarstead. When he shows you where it is on the map its clear to see Falkreath is in the OPPOSITE direction.
I have to recommend "Eagle's Nest" . Its lore friendly and you can also hire personal guard and steward . It has a beautiful view above Riverwood and mini-quest . Hope you see this ESO :) !
But... It's at Riverwood... I like Riverwood and all don't get me wrong but 45% of House mods are in Riverwood, the other 45% is right outside Whiterun, the other 8% being somewhere in the Rift (which I don't mind as I also love the Rift, but they pick the worst places to drop a house), and only a whopping 2% in any real unique locations.
Elianora is my all time favourite modder when it comes to houses. She packs in so much detail and ambiance within small neat spaces and adds so many neat touches and new items. I’m currently using Myrwatch in my Mage playthrough but will look out for the houseboat though I doubt its available for PS4.
My favorite player home is Clockwork Castle. Once you complete the story and have the castle unlocked fully, you can use it to teleport to any major city, it comes with a recall spell that can fast-travel you back to the castle, and the home itself has an automatic organizer system. You click a pneumatic tube, it takes all the crap out of your inventory and sorts it to the various crafting rooms. And then once you go to that room you can grab that stuff out of the bin, then click on the scales and your stuff is automatically sorted into the various chests and boxes. Ore goes to the ore barrel, ingots go to the ingot chest, vacant soul gems go to the relevant shelves, filled gems go to another, etc. A close second is AHO, which is also a full-featured player base that can teleport around the map. It takes the 2nd spot because it lacks the automatic inventory sorting, and the spots it teleports to might take the edge off your travel time, but as someone who never fast travels, being able to teleport directly to a city trumps this mobile home.
I've used the same house, and you have to be careful, since some items disappear when using the automatic sorter. Good house, though you can't move your family there.
@@KunguIl The spell just marks a mod-created home as an available option, you still have to tell your spouse to move there. There is a house mod known as Candle Pond Ranch which has a fully working bathroom, with tub, shower and a flushable toilet. Some say this isn't lore friendly, but with a cistern on the roof, all the water movement necessary could be used. (And there's a mini lake right out the front of the house...which is in the original game known as Candlepond. Has a shrine to Talos there.
You really should include my woodland home in one of these player mod home videos you’ve been doing i’ve been using it for a long time and i really enjoy it
my personal favorite small house mod is Summerset Cabin. it needs a little tweaking to work in SE because of the way it works in LE but it's so immersive and cozy. it's no load and you build it up from a trash pile. for ultimate rp, use the "camping in the woods" option in Alternate Start.
I downloaded Falconroost. I think it a great beggining to mid game player home. My only regret after playing with it for a while is the lack of standing water. I currently have the Vitality mod which allows me to drink from fresh water sources. I went ahead and created an ore smelter in the little cave below the deck, so that it has all the amenities.
My favorite is Silverstead. Has a little village at the base with named merchants, space for storage of all collectibles without being annoying and plenty of space for storage of armor and weapons including like 50 mannequins.

I love the graphics in these videos but my maps sky is never clear like it is in these. So without a clear marker and exact compass direction to head in it's more difficult finding these locations.
