- I don't know if it's a desert dweller thing, or we're just thirsty, but our refrigerator is always PACKED TO THE GILLS with drinks. All those beverages take up about 50% of the space; there's no room for food! Thankfully, NewAir hooked us up with freestanding beverage fridge, to lighten the load.
Thing is, we only have a teeny tiny space in the cabinets to install it. We had to get creative and make some modifications to cram it in there.

looks amazing. I hadnt even considered that crowding it from being able to exhaust would cause it to throttle how cold it gets. I bet this is why some people have reviewed it negatively saying it doesnt get cold. Cant wait to get mine delivered...

HD and other big box home stores sell some cool looking grate/mesh material that’s great for making vented slots etc. Kinda looks like the patterns on your title cards.
Can even use an “ornate” AC vent. Great project and it looks amazing!
Thank you! I know the material you're referring to. We ended up removing the top piece of vented wood, leaving the 1" gap, but I like the idea of replacing it with that material.

Hi, love the videos, just a tought about the GFI plug, since it's under the sink, even if it trips there is still power coming up to the plug, if I were you I would install a GFI breaker for that outlet that way it would cut out at the breaker and the plug would not have any power. Still going strong! In fact, now that summer has passed and the house is cooler, it has been maintaining the cold much more easily. We still keep the fan in the back running, however.

40F seems to be about as good as it's going to get. 😐
