When we moved to AZ and were planning our first foray into Arizona Culture, I convinced my fiance that we should go to see the "toozigoots." Medium sized rodents similar to marmots but aclimatized to the desert. He searched and sesrchrd and never found any.

Last year in May when I took my 6 wk trip through AZ. I also stayed at that Hipcamp. What I noticed at my time there was this really weird noise coming from the water… I couldn’t figure out what it was, but I don’t hang out very long outside in the dark. It was a nice place in the Verde Valley.

Your videos have changed the way I camp. I used to put every bit of gear in the SUV only to end up using half of it. Thanks to you, I pack for each trip and have upped my camp cooking game to make it a culinary adventure. Not quite enough to do pie irons yet, but I do copy your recipes, especially the happy hour ones. ;). I also appreciate that you tell us your locations. Very helpful since I am also in AZ. I'm going to look into HipCamps because campgrounds just are not doing it for me. Thanks and happy trails!
