it finally feels like summer

lately i've been struggling with feeling like i'm outgrowing summer... or at least the nostalgic "fun and young" summer that's romanticized in movies and online. but in the midst of filming this video i realized that wishing for a different season of life is blocking me from appreciating where i'm at now. once i realized that summer is whatever i decide to make it, it finally started to feel like my favorite season again. i'm grateful for the blessings of time and love and people and small joys such as reading that are filling my days recently. this period of rest is needed and will not be taken for granted. i love how this platform allows me to reflect and save my memories and i hope to make many more videos like this. if you enjoyed this vlog please like and subscribe for more!
