Enjoyable battle to watch with the sportsmanship and playing for fun, thanks for the entertainments. If I remember right the abilities that happen at the same time (start of phase stuff) goes the player whose turn it is resolves all of their stuff first in any order they choose, then their opponent resolves all theirs in any order they choose. Rather than the player whose turn it is gets to dictate the order (pretty sure that was second edition).
Weirdly there are two different rules for simultaneous abilities, a rule for all of them and then a seperate rule for abilities that trigger from a die roll. For the die trigger abilities, like exploding 6 to hit, the player whose turn it is gets to decide which ability happens, as only one can. For all other simultaneous abilities the player whose turn it is does all of theirs first and then the non-qctive player does theirs. This can actually mean that in your turn, your opponents ability might overwrite yours since the latest applied ability takes precedence, like with Yndrasta and monsters fighting at the top of their bracket abilities, it's actually the opposite of what you would think and Yndrastas ability works only on the opponents turn, since then it's the last applied.
@@teagancombest6049 I did find that odd at first thinking "how come your own abilities can get overridden if it's your own turn...", best I could come up with is perhaps it is a small way of making the dreaded double turn less bad in some very specific cases..
