Thanks for the video! Here's my Kastelai list I'm going to test out soon! 2x5 Blood Knights Mannfred Vengorian Lord(Rousing Commander, Fragment of the Keep) Vengorian Lord 2x10 Direwolves 1x20 Grave Guard 1x10 Skeletons 1965 points Idea is to goon something with the Vengorian Lords under Mannfreds CA aura, then pop Rousing Commanders for +1 damage, and watch as the Vengorians slaughter some hero/monster with their Talons which will make the +1 damage permanent for 1 of them. Also they're making all enemies around them -1 to wound(artifact) and -1 rend(base Vengorian ability).
Great video! And thanks for giving me some ideas. As a brand new player to AoS I didnt know that you can choose not to take a battalion (in my case Red Banqueters) and I thought I had to buy another Vampire lord to satisfy its requirements. So my list as far, so let me know if it's ok... Coven Throne [310pts]: 2. Spirit Gale Prince Vhordrai [455pts]: 3. Soulpike Vampire Lord [140pts]: 1. Sword of the Red Seneschals, 4. Amethystine Pinions, 6. A Craving for Massacre, General Blood Knights [390pts]: 2x 5 Blood Knights, Standard Bearer Blood Knights [390pts]: 2x 5 Blood Knights, Standard Bearer Deathrattle Skeletons [170pts]: 2x 10 Deathrattle Skeletons, Champion's Mace or Halberd, Standard Bearer Dire Wolves [135pts]: 10 Dire Wolves Or instead of skellies and wolves - 2x 20 Zombies and 3 Fell bats. Allegiance: Soulblight Gravelords: Kastelai Dynasty Game Type: 2000 Points - Battlehost Endless Spell: Malevolent Maelstrom [10pts] ++ Total: [2,000pts] ++
Prince Vhordrai 20 Blood Knights 20-40 Grave Guard Wight King on Steed 10 Direwolves 3 Vargheists I only play 2k games. I need the book to figure out points but I think that's a 2k list. The Wight King will let the Grave guard count as battline so I'll have both BK and GG as battleline units. The Direwolves and Vargheists help to screen and get onto something as well as the BK.
Prince V because he's a G 2 units of 10 skeletons to sit on points and be skeletons Rest of the army all chad blood knights. Mostly units of 5, maybe a unit or 2 of 10 to more efficiently stack the buffs from killin stuff. 1k points-2k points difference being MOAR bloodknights. Maybe a coven throne or w.e in there for the warscroll.
@@CinderfallGaming thats fine ^^. I am doing Stalliarch lords based on your recommendations :D. Im looking to do Avengorii Dynasty for my soulblights. But this Kastelai dynasty looks fun too ^^. I await with anticipation for the Avengorii review :D.
I have just started with this hobby and as it turns out I got the Flesh Eater SC box and pre-ordered 2 boxes of Blood Knights, but why start off with vampire lord on zombie dragon instead of the prince (I'll probably build mine as the prince and later when I get more build the lord)?
Can Blood Knights move after they enter the board from reserve via The Shifting Keep? The rules state that they may enter "at the end of any of your movement phases." I am thinking that the 'end of your movement phase' is different from 'after your movement phase,' so normal movements would still be permitted. The only clarification on the matter I can find is that the action of reserve units entering the battlefield is not counted as their movement; The Shifting Keep does not state that qualifying Kastelai units can't move at this time, only that they enter at the end of the phase.
@@CinderfallGaming Thanks for the reply! But isn't "end of the movement phase" different from "after the movement phase"? Appreciate your insight, I'm returning after 20 years and there's much to learn! Cheers
@@CinderfallGaming Thanks again! PS, just found this in the July 2021 FAQ: "Q: Some abilities allow a unit to be set up ‘at the end of the movement phase’. Can the unit make a move after it is set up in this way? A: No. Things that happen at the end of the phase take place after all of that phase’s normal activities; in the case of the movement phase, this means they occur after all moves have been made." Sounds very similar to Stalliarch Lords for Ossiarch Bonereapers.
Pretty similar indeed tbh.

I'm looking to do a vampire chicks army. Neferata, vampire lord (Fallen Queen third party model), Blood Knights and Coven Throne
Please do a vid on the Vyrkos dynasty at some point 😊
Will be getting to them all in time dw :)
Would the new battle force box with a few extra blood knights be a good way to start as this dynasty?
Oooo I like that list. Need the battletome to expand, but that’s definitely a awesome start. Stop trying to put me off Legion of Blood Luke lol.
Mwahahaha
any way to make a decent list for 600-750 path to glory lists? Vampire Lords losing the nightmare mount really seems like a missed opportunity.
Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon
5 Blood Knights
20 Zombies
All fits in 750 points and would be a great starting force.

second ability of Prince Vhordai is useless unless you have second vampire hero. His ability is to make Vampire hero can fight again.
@@SANESX Oh thanks for the help, than I'll build my first one as a Vampire Lord and at a later date get another one to make the prince.
@@Chnumpen Don't worry. Different between Vampire Lord and Prince Vhordai is just head. I have both to blu-tac in.
Blood knights ftw
Such amazing models.
I'm glad I bought 30 of them
How do Blood Knights becomes battleline?
If you play in the Kastelai Dynasty Sib-Faction
@@CinderfallGaming hrmm I must ne blind, what page in the battletome does it state this? Thank you!

You cannot move after as they come on at the end and the time for moving is during the movement phase not before or after.
