Your skill is unmatched. Other GOW UA-camrs do all sorts of shananingans with runic cancels and animation cancels, but you play with such a style. So crisp and smooth, like a real pro. Also, loved you let Freya finish some of them with great style too.

This is what I call a real combo video. No runic attack spams, no glitchy animation cancels, plenty of dodging and parrying makes this really seamless and impressive. A feast for the eyes.
Runic Cancel always looks somewhat buggy; it just depends on which one you are canceling. It's never intended or by design. That said, I don't like so-called the intended way to play God of War 2018 either simply because the official combo lists are not rich enough while many moves can be too slow without using any animation cancel or they simply look dull. Ragnarok makes things better in some ways while also taking steps back in some area. Guess depending on what kind of player you are, you will find your own balance between utilizing everything in the game intended or not, and simply utilizing only what's intended to put in the game by developers
While I agree that runic cancel animations aren’t exactly appealing, it’s undeniable that the level of skill involved with incorporating them into gameplay is really impressive. That being said, recovering from long attack animations that you normally have to wait out isn’t consistent with how the developers intended you to play. But that’s just me, play the game however you want and enjoy it 😁

Non stop juggle combo action. Mind blowing coordination supreme execution is precise. Very entertaining had to replay and watch from the beginning again.
Smvr is literally playing like Kratos: "In moments of crisis, panic does nothing.. harness it.. let it soathe you" I mean I just press the shit out of double tap dodge with red attacks and you are just doing a precise timed single dodge and then juggling them around like a ball. Great play as always!

Ok, the juggling was cool, but this was the first time I've seen the Spear aimed R2 attack and thought it actually has a use. I really thought it was a weird mechanic to include, but your use of it was very creative give you utilize the fact they are frozen to explode against non-frozen mobs. +1

They ruined them in this game. Runic Cancels had much smoother animations and transitions in the 2018 game. Probably because they were unintended.
