Don't feel too bad. Invaders take whatever advantage they can get. If it's two invaders against you as the host, they'll bum-rush you with no hesitation. If it's one of them against the two of you, they'll act like they're honorably dueling so they won't get ganked

The Underground Region blew my freaking mind when I first found it. I was like "Oh wow this area is cool...oh...OH!!!" Also "INT, VIT, MND, END, INT, VIT, MND, END, INT, VIT, MND, END"
Okay Turtle Pope. I have three confessions. 1: I used Moonveil after being invaded three times and all three they used Moonveil in early Elden Ring. 2: I contributed to many player deaths when I put down a " try down! " message by a ledge to nothing. 3: I used Rivers of Blood to kill invaders in early Elden Ring. I was not a coward about it, but this was back before people had effective counters to " buffed up Rivers of Blood and a RoB user that doesn't just spam the special attack. " - so it was pretty consistent at slapping people down. I used it only three times, then I felt like scum and never used it again unless I was off-handing it while fighting Malenia.

So I have a short tale... I just started playing Elden Ring yesterday and I spent about 10-11 hrs just looting and delving into limgrave and immediate surrounding areas except... I hadn't met Melina yet xD I didn't know how to meet her and didn't realize you had to actually rest at the sites of grace so I explored without Torrent for all of those 10 hrs but an even bigger problem was... I DIDN'T LEVEL UP FOR 10 HRS!! I went to fight Margit and tried to use summons but couldn't because you only get the bell after talking to "Ranni?" Which is after Melina so I fought Margit as a lvl 9 Samurai with a +3 Uchigatana and Godrick Soldier armours. However, with the help of Rogier, it only took about 10 attempts and only 15 mins ish because I was spamming Unsheathe, bleed procs and poise breaks and he went down without too much trouble. I feel I didn't get the feelings of the DS community after that fight despite not using 2 of the main features of the game xD
Oh yes... Tarnished, are we? Come to the Lands Between for the Elden Ring, hmm? Of course you have. No shame in it. Unfortunately for you, however, you are maidenless.
With the recent patches, they sped up the animations of greatswords and other big weapons, originally they were so slow that for fast bosses getting hit was a necesity in order to deal damage. You can check videos to compare between the old speed and the new one, it's kinda hilarious
21:00 Thing is, if you use it, and she (we all know who she is) surprises you with a new attack you weren't familiar with (or worse, one Fromsoft decided to add in a patch because screw you, that's why) and wrecks you, you don't get the consumable back. So yeah. Never, ever use anything.

Actually, malenia had eyes when she fought radahn, shes imune to rot, and she got her blindness when she woke up to fight us they got her when she was asleep
Source on her having eyes when she fought Radahn? I just checked the trailer, and it's /very/ hard to tell through her visor, but her face /looks/ rotted under it. You can see darker patches where her eyes would be, but that's also true on her helmetless Goddess of Rot model, so it doesn't seem conclusive. On balance it looks to me like she's blind during their duel. Also, she's definitely not immune to rot, either in game mechanics (though her rot resistance is very high) or in the lore, where suffering from the Scarlet Rot is kind of her main thing. I'm legitimately not sure why you think she's immune.

i was so prepared to be stuck fighting malenia for like 10+ hours and when i got there i beat her on my second try. felt unreal
Same with me & Mohg. Burnt him down in 10 seconds.
I played at release and was STR build using mouse and keyboard. Hours without any luck... just too slow. Switched to the blood slashing blade and chewed her up. Then back to STR build for rest of game.
My strength build just slaughtered malenia
I think it really depends on the person/build my buddy had stupid amount of trouble with placideax(?) but i beat him first try i think lol
When I heard people saying she made Isshin look like a chump, I was legit shivering a little. Then I got her second try as well. Double Grossmessers, quality build with lifesteal. What a fantastic duality that was. I went in there basically copying her style. It was an excellent counter.

I felt so bad doing Ranni's quest and having to put Blaidd down. He talked to us as an equal and I loved whenever he complimented me on my skills, when I left the rise and saw him waiting out there I knew I had no choice but to kill him if I was going to get his armor. I used the incantation that gives your armament holy damage, golden vow, and flame give me strength and kept him pinned to the floor with my Claymore art of war, was able to put him down with a visceral attack like a true warrior should. 5:53 I was fighting maliketh for the first time being helped by a friend. At one point (probably around the 35th try) we got invaded and my friend (the better player of us) dueled him. The dude was extremely respectful and honorable and I jumped into the duel and got a cheep killing shot in. After another 4 or so tries we killed the boss. It was only then I realized what I had done. Idk it just made me feel bad
That's nasty, I think Turtle Pope will be upset about you.
Don't feel too bad. Invaders take whatever advantage they can get. If it's two invaders against you as the host, they'll bum-rush you with no hesitation. If it's one of them against the two of you, they'll act like they're honorably dueling so they won't get ganked
This is the best elden ring memes I've ever soon dude 🤣its so relatable as well

11:49 I thought they were Italian players who tried to indicate "strong enemy at night-time".
"Fort" in Italian is "forte" which means "strong" or "fort" depending on the use.
Fort night = Forte notte = strong enemy at nighttime

Did you know that radhans horse is his horse when he was younger. He loved that horse so much he learned gravity magic to become lighter when he grew and ride it. 5:16 I had a couple of PVP fights and just like with all the other fromsoft games that give you some sort of bowing pose, I always made sure to do that first.
One time, because of some lag somebody got summoned in front of me without realizing it and I accidentally attacked without realizing what I was doing.
My response after realizing I didn’t bow first was to back up as fast as I could, throw down the ‘I’m sorry’ stone Then bow.
I even made sure to bow whenever I defeated an opponent that invaded.
I will agree elden ring did dragons so well
Comparing it to skyrim is kinda cheap though, one is over a decade old while the other has access to more advanced ai
Tho sis amazing, keep making these. This was the highlight of my day!
The Underground Region blew my freaking mind when I first found it. I was like "Oh wow this area is cool...oh...OH!!!"
Also "INT, VIT, MND, END, INT, VIT, MND, END, INT, VIT, MND, END"
The “random bullshit ,go!” Did me in 😂
Literally, ive 100% played the game three times, completed all xbox achievements, finished each npc's quest at least once, and spent time farming for most items to add to my collection... and have literally never used one of my consumables. I keep telling myself that i'll be glad to have them at some point. I've never even activated a great rune.

2:12 is my favorite so far

I’m surprised by all the “STR Bad” memes, honestly. I’m on my 6th playthrough and hammer build has just been phenomenal!
With the recent patches, they sped up the animations of greatswords and other big weapons, originally they were so slow that for fast bosses getting hit was a necesity in order to deal damage. You can check videos to compare between the old speed and the new one, it's kinda hilarious

For those of you who don’t know there’s a tiny monolith in places like boss rooms and open areas that is the reason we’re able to summon spirits.

The best message I've ever seen in a souls game was Bloodborne. It just said "wretched bird" and then a crow I didn't see got my ass. Very helpful. Wish it was a little further back...
