I was trying to post my game replays to utube but the replay files were not compatible so when i found obs i was pleased straight away. It was free simple quick easy to adjust and produces quality posts. I highly recommend obs its spot on and ticks all the boxes. Good vid as well man its useful so nice one

Could you make an updated video as the software has updated an no longer matches this layout? Although could that change depending on the graphics card you have, because i have the NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new) thing.
hey, nice video! I've set up 2 different audio tracks but in my video editor (HitFilm) I cant seem to see 2 separate audios to adjust... any idea how I see that? thanks man.
look in properties and copy and paste the video, i can go more in depth if u need more info
this fixed my audio issues (: can't seem to find a sweet spot tho in terms of killing my mic's static background noise and NOT making me sound choppy

So, question: my options at Encoder are "SVT-AV1", "AOM AV1", "QuickSync H. 264", and "X264". Which of those is the best option?And in case you're wondering, my graphics card is an Intel UHD 605.
I would say x264, I'm probably wrong, but if you want more quality, then i would say x264

Every time I have OSB running in the background with replay buffer on my fps goes to the ground. Idk what to do

Delay in streams is commonly caused by your internet connection, especially if you are using WIFI instead of a Ethernet cord. In "advanced" settings, you can check to make sure the setting "Stream Delay" is turned off. If you aren't using a Ethernet cord, I would highly suggest investing in one as they are fairly cheap and help boost stream quality dramatically.
Secretses.. #golem.. any recommendatins on a more budget mixer, maybe mic also?

hello I have a rx 5700xt and an i 7 9700k, I've been looking for good settings to record videos for months where the quality is optimal and the framerate stable, what do you recommend? I have tried and searched everywhere but have not yet managed to get the desired result.

If you do AMD or Nvidia option on OBS it will use GPU instead of CPU

guys please answer i was recording and was playing roblox, then my roblox crashed twice and my obs screen turned white so I closed It. and i wake up the next day and my laptop is really hot. i deleted obs and i still have the obs in the taskbar arrow and it shws the app but with a red circle but i cant open it or close it what do i do
im really worried

My Obs doesn't look like that. A lot of the features on the advanced tab just aren't there for me...?
Depends on the version and your hardware. OBS Studio will pick options based on the first time you open it and use the quick setup wizard. I have to use a different bitrate option than what's in this and many other videos because my rig absolutely fails in every department for what I am abusing it for. An All In One computer should not be able to do what I am doing with it, it shows, but gotta start somewhere!

yes it does
Yes, just let the program do the initial wizard and don't mess with it too much without trying the default settings. Videos like this are better suited for optimization. You won't know there was an issue if you don't try it first.

what a waste of time how do you actually record the game you know press play and it saves it in videos.
He did actually say about setting hotkeys (4:45 ) to start/stop recording and showed ( 5:33 ) where he saves his videos
My usual comment on these types of videos: **THERE ARE NO BEST SETTINGS** You do not have the same hardware as this person (who by the way just updates the title to make it seem like this is recent, so they are on an old OBS version as well), and even if you did, you are not doing the same thing and so it's useless. Use the Auto-config tool, test, etc. Do not follow advice of random youtube videos.
