    Nice one Mark, I've found pointing the rod tip at the water and winding firmly down has worked for me but that's with 4 inch and smaller baits. want to try some 6 inch baits this year so will keep what you said about the two runs in mind, cheers.

    Hi Mark, you have just answered a question for me, why do you get down to the rods when you have a take, I understand now, cheers Mark.

      Amazing on another day the same fish would probably hit the bait at 100mph and I would be winding down instantly

    Hi. Appreciate you taking your time to make this video. If you don’t mind me asking, which brand of circles do you like? They only have catfish circles at my local shop. Also, iwhat sort of size hooks would you adapt for certain size baits? Cheers

      @Fishing4Pleasure  5 днів тому +1

      For the smaller baits 3 inches or smaller I use Owner light circle in a size 1 and for the larger baits over 3 inches Fladen circle hooks in a size 1/0

    Hi Mark, like yourself, I have used Circle Hooks for 3 years, with no deep hooked fish, biggest fish this season 281/2lb, starting my fens campaign tomorrow on the 20' drain, on the Whittlesea AA, never fished this water before, any tips?? Love the video as usual.
