Yes, believe it or not Lorelei DID have potplants - she had an awesome tall wrought-iron stand with potplants on her porch, and a beautiful fern in a hanging basket that I remember, also on the porch. I always assumed Babette watered them!! 😜😁

I noticed them a couple of years ago when I was on a "plantifying" mission, AND rewatching the whole series (I couldn't believe how much I didn't remember from the original screenings! 😆). I couldn't tell you which seasons those porch scenes were in, but I noticed the plant stand and plants!! Happy watching - you can't go wrong with Gilmore Girls 🥰 Many happy memories ☺️
I know I am a year late to this video but! Ive always noticed how out of place Loralai's boyfriend's house (I think his name was Jason) felt in the show. The style there felt so different to everything else in the show.
But the Oasis was a Tiki Bar type thing lol One big point is 'the people' - they 'generally made you feel at home.' :) As for that 'wet bar thing' - First time I noticed it. Isn't that the episode when Lor discovers that Rory is TwitterPated? "Better run like Flo-Jo"
So so true! The people are totally the biggest part of feeling cozy! They make Stars Hollow what it is! Such a good point! And yes! Good eyes, it’s right after the Flo-Jo walk off. I’m guessing it was a quick refilm and they didn’t think we would notice 😂
@@AVintageJoy Ya do know that I Am "Thee" Original GilmoreGuy?!? Silly people! Like with "Luke's" that changes from the first episode lol. For me from the moment the show started with "There she goes" I was hooked for life! :) Lor!!! :) Oh! There was a "homeliness" feel to everything and everyone... Ah... Can't explain. Things looked and felt familiar but weren't... lol The white picket fence, people walking about... 😃 Joy!!! 😃
I HATE upper-head big lights! After being stuck in school for 8 hours a day with blaring white lights my brain is so fried that my only relief is at home where the only lights I use are my white/multi-colored/purple string lights and my LED changing lightbulb that is so much better than strips and way cleaner btw. Candle sticks are so cute too, thrift stores have a really cute selection and it's so comforting.💕
Yes! 100% once I’m home, I’m so over the big harsh lights! I love the idea of colored lights! I think anything that’s comforting and cozy is wonderful! Similarly when I swapped out more blue tone lights for more warm yellow tone lights that was a huge difference!! And yes!! Thrift stores for candle sticks/holders is perfect! That’s a two for one awesome!!
