- Updated State of the Watch Collection as at July 2024! Over 40 at this point and that's TOO MANY! With TOO MANY SEIKOS!! There's been significant turnover so far this year as the Collection matures, with some interesting new additions replacing some serious watches. There's also been growing interest in Vintage watches. But it's only the half way point and there will be more consolidation towards the year end. Its an ongoing process. Comments welcome!
Excellent collection & very entertaining. I often feel that seeing someone's collection tell you a lot about someone... Have to say that I do like that gold Omega, absolute class my friend!

Gold capped on that vintage Seiko right? If it were solid gold that would be absolutely incredible. Still looks great and probably my favorite of the collection.

Brilliant video and great to see the collection develop. A brief update on the Grand Seiko after just shy four months ownership. Running like a dream at just 0.25 of a second fast over three months which is quite incredible and way over spec of 10 seconds per year. The quality of the polishing of the silver handset and indices against the jet black dial make it the most legible watch in my collection. It convinced me to sell all my mechanicals and go 100% quartz with the Grand Seiko Sea of Clouds SBGP017 and Casiotron TRN50 to round off a 3 watch collection.
Wow! That's interesting and thanks for the update. Brilliant to know its in a good home being cared for. I think I know the sea of clouds range . There's a few options . I do browse Grand Seiko, it was the vintage gold Omega that replaced it by the way

That’s a very fine collection. Especially the vintage ones. And you are right. You only need one watch and that’s a diver. If I had to choose one watch only, I would go for my Seiko Turtle. 🕐⚙️🍸

My Spinnaker diver is one of my collection favorites, surprisingly. It fits perfectly, the movement is superior and I don't know how they made such a beautiful dial even though there are some quirks.
Yes...its one you can keep coming back to and never have an issue with wearing. Just does everything comfortably well!
I’m willing to bet that fortis came from India and you got it for like 29 bucks. Yeah that’s a fake. Those other watches are just stunners.

@@perfectwrist23exactly why they would. They fake a lot of brands off the beaten path. Titus, Favre Leuba and such. They mostly all come out of India and are labeled refurbished. They’ve replaced the case, dial, movement, hands….you get the idea.
