I remember lusting after that Bulova Curv yearsss ago. haha nice memory / throwback. Awesome collection. The dial on that Grand Seiko is off the charts too! Great centerpiece of the collection to let people know you mean business
If only bulova made the moon watch in a auto..id buy one in an instance. You have an amazing watch collection sir . I personally dont collect quartz watches only auto and a few mechanical wind movement watches but a few of your quartz and solar have opened up my eyes a bit. T.y. for sharing your awesome collection.(imo everyone's collection is awesome because every watch has a story..)
Also..imo...YOU SHOULD BE SATISFIED... BUT even owning all those ff(forking fantastic) pieces...they just keep coming and .... YOU ARE BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO GET THEM. THANK.......ABBA👀🕊️❤️
great collection and most of these can be picked up quite cheap now. This sort of price range watch doesn't appreciate in value like rolex do. I was a bit disapointed that my pre 2017 oris aquis is going on ebay auctions for £700 now. I bought it 6 years ago for £1000. When rolex do a limited run and discontine a model - the price shoots up. When smaller brands discontunue a model - people dont want it because it's the "older inferior model"
That is really why you should only buy a watch you like/love. 95% of watch brands, even the good ones, have depreciation factors. You shouldn't depend on buying a watch to make a long term profit. It's a piece of jewellery at the end of the day. I just hope you have enjoyed your Oris.
Sir you make a very good point about the depreciation of non luxury watches Recently You just end up taking a hit as soon as you purchase these watches! You will end up losing money!
Due to the obcenely inflated prices of Luxury watches in the last Five or yen years, you might call these AFFORDABLE but not that many people can afford your higher end watches! you've selected some absolutely beautifull weell chosen watches though! I would be proud to own any watch in your wonderfull collection! that Grand Seiko Spring Drive however is not wihin the reach of most people! ,I would by no.means call that affordable!
Semi-affordable means somewhat affordable and I am perfectly aware that some cannot afford even these but I think anyone can build a good collection for under 1k. When it comes to watches this VERY affordable. It's very subjective and I was using it as a broad term that may or may not apply to everyone. (If you notice my recent SOTC video no longer even says the word affordable.) Thanks for watching. ;)
Your Hamilton Intrmatic chrinograph comes in at more thann one thousnd dollars! While I appreiate your love for each of your watches, like rhe Omega Speedmaser, I dont think you can call it Affordable at all with all due respect to you Sir!
@@mark_n_r If you think putting "big boy" in my description is anything other than acknowledging I have chosen a more mature hobby than toy collecting, I don't know what to tell you. :(

I'm Not upset (notice the lack of all caps in my message.) I'm glad you found usefulness in at least one watch I own. My collection has changed significantly since this video ;) @@Sire638

That black Hamilton Khaki and the Grand Seiko are awesome! I'd love to own one if my wrist is bigger. Great collection you have there.

That Hamilton field watch on that thick blackstrap is not good. It’s a beautiful watch but it’s too small for you. Sell it, move on. Lesson learned.

Really cool ⁉️....... MF ICEBERG BRO MF ARCTIC FREEZE MFer.
If you bought that many watches in 6 months, you should pop into a self help meeting, cuz you have a problem.
I can admit that is crazy...... but it could have been worse.
