What an absolute authority you are on sciatica Will, I’ve learnt so much from your well presented informative videos, I do hope fellow sufferers read my comments and seek out your videos, you actually were my last chance saloon, I was believing this was my life now, but they say Save The BEST To Last, and that was you my Top Man!
Thank you, such a relief to find someone to help me with my sciatica, which I have been battling for more than two years now. I have intense pain starting at the left knee and doing down in the outside of the calf. None of the doctors I have seen have commented on this type of sciatic pain, they seem more familiar with the usual full leg syndrome. It is such a relief to find someone who really understands this problem. Thank you.
Has anyone on this site received a nerve block? Have l4 l5 and s1 pinching a nerve. Found wills advice excellent but I'm having a nerve block Monday and hoping this works.

Thank you for such clear explanations. I have spinal stenosis and my back has been fused in the lumbar region. (2018) I'm 75 and find it very difficult to get enough strength in my legs as mostly my legs feel like lead when I walk. I have to stop and rest all the time.
I have been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis by my physician over year ago but my Sciatica started 8 years ago I have been seeing Physiotherapists for while and quite painful when I walk ,i am 70 is there any hope for me to recover? Please help me ❤
My physiotherapist diagnosed me with piriformis syndrome as I have pain and tightness on the left side. However I also have back pain. Just walking the other day I had 2 severe sharp pains in my lower back right in the middle. Can piriformis cause that or could I have a disc problem too? I've suffered with this since lockdown and I was sitting down a lot more than usual...and gaining weight😒 Oh and I'm definitely going to buy your book👍🏻
Thank you! It is possible to have both at the same time but pain is a funny thing and doesn't always indicate the problem. Best to get a proper assessment from a professional for issues like this.
Thank you for being so clear in your description of all issues to do with sciatica. I find you very reassuring and I am looking forward to reading your book.
Find another doctor. At 62 you should be free of back pain, my problems didn’t start until mid 70s. “Age related changes” just isn’t a satisfactory diagnosis.
@elizabethwatts8754 You can get back problems any age, I've worked in retail over 30 years and carried heavy boxes, also standing 8 hours a day at work for years has took its toll on my back. I suppose as well if you're lucky in the gene pool.

3 reasons: 1) disk injury & bulges.... 2) age related arthritis of spine... 3) piriformis syndrome
Thanks you are the best. Clear and easy to follow
