Fantastic video! This was just what I needed after receiving my Ranger yesterday. One thing you might add... @6:50 your laptop connected to the ExpressLRS TX Wi-Fi network without a code (probably because you had previously connected). The password is "expresslrs". The only other issue I had is that I initially did the update on my desktop PC, but I had to switch to my laptop so I had a wifi connect that the Configurator could connect with. Thanks again for a great video!
I think the wifi code has gone away lately. It's been a while since I've had to enter that one in AP mode. Anyway, thanks for pointing it out. Can't really add to the video though :)
which cp10x driver do i need for windows 11 64 bit. I tried the 3rd one down for windows but my pc said i need the driver for 64 bit. Then how do i install it ? if it doesnt have an installer
Do all the Radiomaster ranger modules update by the usb-c port like the one in this video? Or do the cheaper ranger ones need dip-switches repositioned? Thanks
in the previous modules of elrs like HM TX2400 we should install the lua script on the TX16s. should we do it to on this module ? or we can use the lua script from the old module that already installed on the radio ?
I've got another question for you. I understand how to install and flash Edge Tx and how to drag and drop the sound files you want onto the radio. My radio has had Edge TX for a while, but the Open TX sound files are all it plays. How do you switch to the sound files you want? I tried erasing all the other files for other languages etc, all I get are beeps for everything so I copied them all back. I've looked all over the menus etc.
If you replace \SOUNDS from OTX with \SOUNDS from ETX, all internal prompts/voices will be changed. You don't need to do anything. If you've specified custom prompts in Special or Global functions, you'll probably need to reset at least some of them.
Dunno. Probably because the range on 2.4ghz is enough for just about any practical distance, but it doesn't account for long range video configurations. So not sure. I'm sure supply and demand laws are in effect.
Can you not flash thru the radio by dropping the firmware into a folder or on the root of the SD? Go' flash something ?? Last time i did that i got arrested .. ;o)
@@RCVideoReviews A late reply here - sorry for that. I got my Ranger Micro today and it is very nice. Followed your video for updating to 3.2.0. Also tested the if the WiFi worked - i used the AP and took a laptop and connected to its network and typed ip-adress and got into the Rangers setup-page. Nice product. Now i just have to wait for the new board that fixes the external supply problem - might go a while. Regards from Denmark and thanks for all the help you provide with your videos.

You helped me so much, more than you can think :D thank you!!!
You're welcome!
Absolutely great video! Helped me a ton! Cheers, my friend. Thanks for the fantastic explanation 😊.
Glad to help. Thanks for the comment.
Would've been great if the ExpressLRS website's Flashing Guide for these modules are linked as well.. :D
3.1.1 might be just around the corner.
3.1.1 just released today. Ranger targets are now available from the Configurator.
Thanks for the tip. Good to hear.
@@deadbyteDrones will it bind to mobula 6?
@@Walter_Berg it would, if the mobula is flashed to betaflight 4.4.x+
@@deadbyteDrones nice, thank you
A very good tutorial.
Thank you.
Still waiting for mine to ship. Wish they gave a est date rather then a general idea sometime in December
Your patience will be rewarded with an excellent implementation of ELRS. Hang in there.
@@RCVideoReviews Going on 3 months.................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnyyyyyyyyyy day now any day now!

All USB C as far as I know.
@@RCVideoReviews thank you. Appreciate it
What about Radiomaster Nano 2.4GHz ELRS?
Can you make video tutorial?
I bought it for back pack Radiomaster Zorro version ELRS too.
It's pretty much the same process...?

The v3 lua is all you need. I've been told the v2 lua works fine too--there were few updates between the two.
@@RCVideoReviews Can't find Radiomaster Ranger 2400TX in official mode. So i should wait for 3.1.1 for using the modul ?
Literally addressed directly in the video.
Flash Gordon he’ll save the universe
Still waiting for mine. Thank u for your help and time ⏲️.
They'll show up soon.
same here
Will it bind to spi Rx on mobula 6?

Do you have to take the module out of your radio to flash it or can you leave it in the radio
I take mine out, but I don't know if that's required. Try it and let us know what you learn.
Do you think its possible to get it before New Year? No ETA was given by Radiomaster on the preorder
I honestly have no way of knowing...
why is the 900mhz line so neglected? I want a Ranger 900 module

I'm new to expresslrs. you mention web UI, please explain. thanks without you I would be lost for sure.
