Keeps friendship with Charu. Charu began to love him and Amal feels guilty of it. Atlastt he leaves the house by putting a letter for Bhupathy asking his pardon. Charu seems heart broken on his absence. Bhupathi realises her affection towards him and goes out in his carriage aimlessly. At last, he returns to Charu, They stretch their hands but a gap separates them.
