      If you want something that can be removed fairly easily, doesn't require buffing or filing, and adds just a bit of strength, try Zoya Gelie-cure. It's a gel system that attaches to a special serum that strengthens the nail. That being said, it is not an enhancement that adds length, just strength, and is just a small touch of extra strength, so it might not be suitable for super long growth or if you are rough with your hands. That being said, I always do a Gelie-cure after removing polygels or any enhancements, as it helps to restore some of the strength and moisture lost by the nail prep process. It's really comfortable to wear and soaks off in just a couple of minutes (no exaggeration).

    • @dizzyantennae5883
      @dizzyantennae5883 3 роки тому +2

      Two other options I can recommend are silk wraps and IBD builder in a bottle. (Note: neither of these are as strong as polygel, acrylic, or dip nails.) Silk wraps don't require buffing the natural nail, though there is some filing of the finished surface needed. The basic process involves placing the wrap, applying brush on resin, and curing it with a resin setter spray, then filing to smooth. It removes easily with acetone and doesn't need to be filed down first.
      As for IBD builder in a bottle, there are other brands of builder in a bottle, but I recommend this one because it's a soak off. You do have to buff the nail first, as well as dehydrate and prime, but it's comfortable, lightweight, and can last for a few weeks. You can wear it either as an overlay on natural nails or use it with forms to build length. It soaks off very easily, though you do need to remove the surface layer first. I've used all three and rotate through them, though the builder in a bottle is the strongest. Hope this helps.

    Is it possible to add some basecoat or similar, so that they come off faster? I like to design my nails, but I don't need them to stay on longer than two weeks. I have only worked with usual nail polish so far, but that stuff dries very fast, so I can't do certain designs. So I'm totally new to gel. What options are there, that are easy to take off? (Btw my nail polish stays on two weeks without looking damaged at all, so I'd just assume that gel would stay on even longer?) Idk, I really don't know what to buy. I just know that I would prefer to build than to file off the press on nails that everybody seems to use(they are very long and as far as I know usually have the same shape, so you'd have to file them if you want a different shape)
