I did Taekwondo for most of my childhood but had to leave due to family complications. A few years later, the prospect of joining again has popped up and I’ve been doing this (coupled with other exercise routines and relearning the poomsae) ever since. This has been a big help and I can’t thank you enough.
The structure of these vids are great. I've never done TKD, but I'm interested in learning the forms and developing my flexibility. I will be using these vids as a template!
I had been doing taekwondo during my hard times, like when I had family problems and so on and the classes were like heaven to me. I really loved my taekwondo classes but then the teacher stopped teaching and I felt sad. I tried many other sports like karate, horse riding, badminton, volleyball, basketball etc... Some at school and some outside of school but then, in my heart, taekwondo is always the number 1. I love volleyball and horse riding too but taekwondo is just something else. My parents don't wnat me to do it anymore because I quit the other sports that I practiced because I didn't feel I had my place there. They think I'll quit taekwondo too... But then I always 'practice' by myself whenever I feel like it. I did taekwondo for only 10 months but I miss my classes so bad. I then decided to get my life back on track. Like I want a fixed workout plan so here I am.
As a 29 year old, I can tell you, do not listen to them, unless they listen to you. Do what you love to do. And when they tell you give up, you tell them winners never quit, and quitters never win. Then remind yourself 'I'm not a quitter, I'ma winner!" And leave them and go practice. Cuz they will not be satisfied until you've given up like they did.
@@myselfidontagreewithyourse6306 The issue is that they are the ones paying for the classes and then I have my O-levels coming up. I still have the intention of starting again but for now, I'll stick to volleyball, badminton and weight training. But you're absolutely right. Winners don't quit and I won't. Thanks for the reply😁
When I was at grade 4 elementary, I did taekwondo for 1 year after I did ballet for 3 years... For me, it's so weird that I memorized these warm ups than my warm ups in ballet after 4 years... Right now I'm trying to do these warm ups again until I show improvements on my body and I hope I'll get to join a martial arts academy
Today, like right now, I'm actually practicing taekwondo, and the exercises was also like in this video! Oh,and also, I have a whit belt, and I live in philipines! Next week, we have to go to the plaza for a show, but I can't join because I'm only white belt, I'm also friends with a ton of kids in there! Some of my friends is white belt too.
I'm just watching cuz I'm sick of everyone telling me I don't know how to stretch. Got my blackbelt at 9 years old. And I didn't realize how good I was. I should've never let my father pull me out of class. This is what I want to do with my life.
I feel you on that, for me it was that I could pick things up quickly and had fun with it; learned round house kick from bruce lee, instructor asked who taught you that? I was like boooooy. But yeah, this is something I wanna go back to. What have you've been up to so far?
I Want to be a black belt, i want to open my own Dojo, i am white belt i know basic Kicks, i am living in rural area in a Village far from the city, unfortunately there is no Taekwondo Dojo around here to train only in the city, can i get black belt from online course? Is it possible to open Dojo with online black belt?
I did taekwondo before when i was still in grade 7-8. But when i was in grade 8( yellow belt) i had to stop. The school i was attending is private and are very strict with grades. So to focus on my grades i stopped attending taekwondo classes. I feel regret about that. And now that my subject in pe is taekwondo in college, it makes me remember thethingsiwent through when i was still training. 😥
I wish I had martial arts in PE at my school. I had to stop taekwondo too. I miss my classes 😭😭😭. The teachers told me they just removed martial arts from the options for PE. I was hoping to use PE as excuse to join another class of taekwondo but heck😭😭😭😭
@@studywithkim8996 oh god that's rough 😥, but why would they remove it? For me it's really important for students to learn martial arts or taekwondo to be honest. 😅
@@mz8515 I don't know. They had it last year but I was still fighting against my parents to be able to take PE. They didn't agree for me to take pe in like grade 10 and 11. Now I finally succeeded in getting it as subject and then boom there's no martial arts anymore.
@@mz8515 I'll follow some videos online nad then wait till I find work. I'll get paid and I'll use that to join taekwondo again. I'm 17 this year and it's been long since I didn't exercise like I used to. So it's gonna help prepare myself.

So you don't know stretching increases circulation? You stretch, then workout. You don't workout stretch then workout unless you're untrained. Training the body requires discipline.

I think .
this is not warm up, Because warming up should speed up blood circulation ,this is stretching dynamic
So you don't know stretching increases circulation? You stretch, then workout. You don't workout stretch then workout unless you're untrained. Training the body requires discipline.
