  • This is a compliation of some videos I had from late spring/early summer of our "new to us" John Deere 8850 pulling 726 mulch finisher. Last half of video is more of the 8850 - you can see if better (up closed) and hear it's unique sound better - had a few requests for more videos of it (thanks!).

Sounds awsome! That bigger chrome stack really gives that 8850 a nice touch

Your correct ... Inner are 30.5x32 and duals are 24.5x32.. We bought it this way, I would like to put it back to all (8) 30.5's

Check the oil often. That tractor frame is not strong enough for the torque of the engine. It will stress the block the harder you pull it.
Eventually bottom end troubles will show up. Then the only thing to do is a repower after beefing up the frame around the engine.
Deere screwed so many farmers for decades with high HP tractors with not nearly enough rigidity to not harm the engine.
Should have been a class action suit against Deere years ago for this issue. Millions of dollars' worth of repairs and stacks of
    broken engines.

Jill Schulte what are you talking about? Chisel plows operate in access of6 inch depth - this mulch finisher only will go about 4 inches max ..video is of some general smooth up only

I'm hoping you just did a really bad job of editing the video, because if all you did was drive around you would have been money ahead letting the equipment sit in the barn.
