Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme was the first act to open the Atlantic City gaming era back in 1978. 15 years later, Merv Griffin invited them back for the 15th Anniversary celebration. We caught up with them and talked about their marriage and professional partnership, their relationship with Sinatra.

Good interview. I saw Steve and Eydie many times and always enjoyed them. I was appearing in S. Jersey when they opened Resorts-International and remember it well.

The were Great and if they went back and rerecorded songs, they would not be better as mistakes don't hurt the songs! They are so likeable!
