I’m a guy 69 years young who back then was a teenager when Gary Pucket and the Union Gap were cranking out all the great hits that impacted me then and still do to this day! I still listen regularly to their top hits and get my Mojo lol!
There is another interview from 2007 on you tube: ua-cam.com/video/RXDrz5jAIoM/v-deo.html Gary Puckett is STILL with us, performing all the time, quite often in Las Vegas, either downtown at the Golden Nugget or on the south Strip at Southpoint Hotel/Casino. I'll be seeing him once again, next week March 11, 2022, at the Southpoint. He STILL has that amazing voice! I was a studio musician at Columbia records, Sunset Strip, Hollywood working for Terry Melcher,1966-1971, and Gary and the Union Gap (working for Jerry Fuller) would often be seen in the halls, or in the studio, but I never got to record with him. He used some wrecking crew (Blaine, Kaye, etc) in the first records, but the Union Gap played all their own instruments for all the rest of the records! They were THAT good!
I am with you on this comment. It drives me nuts to especially when they interrupt the person they’re interviewing cut them off their rude and you’re wondering what the heck is going on it just ruins the whole atmosphere bad karma but everybody is right about Gary, being humble and kind, respectful and likable all over the world. Happy Easter, everyone
Love his music
Best male vocals ever, loved and respected by every generation, privileged to have attended his concert in LA in the 80s

Ill always love you!!!!!
Interesting but it drives me nuts when an interviewer cuts off the person being interviewed in the middle of a thought.
