Man. GL is my favourite series. Im glad to see you collecting many. I only get Omnibus for collection sakes as floppies are hard to get where i live. If i was in the US i would get as many GL books as i could.
@@MintHunterComics You also have to make sure that the collection is protected in as many ways as possible from flood and theft at least.not much can be done about fire

@@MintHunterComics I loved the whole run but the sinestro corp war was my personal favourite part, just unending action and great storytelling,over the whole run I especially enjoyed the constant references to lantern lore/history that showed Geoff John's obvious long term love of the corp,awesome !!!
And in just two short years, DC took such rich and spectacular storytelling and threw it all in the trash. Larfleeze became comedy relief, the Red Lanterns became something to be pittied, and the Sinestro Corps were as terrifying as Q-Tips.

Then, I rediscovered the character via digital copies of the John's books - they were actually the very first digital comics I ever purchased - amazing! (I've since gotten the Omni's, but think maybe I should seek out the singles - because they really are great) I really enjoyed seeing these books - it's gotten me thinking about getting my favourite series all graded... except I think it would cost a small fortune :)

It's kinda hard to remember, I got nailed with the cost of every book and then had them reimburse me month's later for the books that didn't get slabbed. It was still very very very expensive. Ironically if I had it graded under the new pricing this amount of books would be over $400 more than the old price!
Unfortunately I don't remember. but at the time it was insanely cheaper. with discount it came to 16 bucks per book that got graded. it only costs $5 a book that got rejected. Now it's like $24 a book, and $8 for reject
I've been catching up on current Green Lantern and I've got to say I hate the whole concept of the 'Teen-Lantern' . An 11 year old girl who hacks into OA's power battery and gets GL powers. To me it undermines the whole concept that GL's are chosen as they are worthy. Just my opinion
I understand keeping comics protected, Im anal about keeping my books in nice shape...but paying for someone else to give their opinion on the condition of a comic and sealing it up so it can't be enjoyed just makes no sense to me.
This is what I love seeing - books no one else would submit, purely for the PC. Congrats mate

I ask them to update the notes - I send post it notes on the bag for them to consider
do you read these comics before sending them in or figure out a different way to read it on the DC app or something else?
Most of these were all read, I have all graphic novels and digital of a lot of this though
