I should be out this weekend with an overview of this bike and what you need to know as a first time Builder. Talk about what parts you can upgrade and where to get them. Stay Tuned!
Hey, love your bike, I have an RSF also and I wanted to ask you about the saddle seat. Can you please share a link so that I get one with the same dimensions and screw hole placement so that I can make sure that it fits. Also, did you have to fabricate or customize anything in order to attach the seat? Thanks brother
You mentioned you’re previous motor was a 48v? Or something less than the 72v but went faster bc you over volted it- why did you switch? I’m guessing bc this motor can hold top speed for longer without pushing the motor to its limit? TIA
I sold the bike with the 48v motor and wanted to try other motors, controllers, and such. I figured it would have less RPM's because of the larger windings, but you can apply more amps without as much heat build-up and then gear it to the speed you want.
They are rated at 220lbs. but I think that is because the stock motor isn't powerful enough to pull around added weight. But the frame is steel and the welds aren't bad, just don't jump it!
yes the MY1020 3kw brushless motor bolts right in... You will need to remove two (2) screws from the motor, countersink the opening, and then replace the screw so that the screw head is flush with the motor case.
not difficult... cut the mounting bracket that comes with the seat so that it "forks" the top of the shock and then put 2 screws from underneath through the frame and into the hard plastic seat bottom. there are already 2 holes where you need them once you remove the stock seat. I'll be making a video this weekend of me tearing it down for more upgrades. Stay tuned.
Hell the fuck yeah you got my support man!! I wish i did this months back!! What range do you got on this set up?? Do you take this build serious or is this for fun?
With the programable controller, I can increase my range, or increase my performance. As the bike sits now, it is tuned for speed and I get about 5 miles per charge at 50mph. I have parts coming in now for some winter upgrades, which include a larger battery so stay tuned. Thanks.
this looks dope as hell
looking forward to the final build
thanks
Holy smokers, that thing looks good!
So clean and minimal looking i love that
Putting together at 72v 24ah 650mx when the parts come in. Thanks for the good video content
Dope project! I swear I wanna build one over the winter!

I've been looking for a used one forever.
They are so hard to find used. I had to buy it new. Six months ago they were $599 at Amazon, now they are $689.
@@razorspeedfreak6508 I’m excited to start this project. Just picked up two slightly used for $750;)

What size rear shock?
Was the thumb throttle plug and play? You got a link? Thanks.
amazon... "300x Wuxing thumb throttle". about 20$ and no, you would need a new 3 pin connector
@@razorspeedfreak6508 thanks
Can u leave a link to the motor
Will this hold 300 and not break like scooting around town maybe

Still has a solid front fork?
Do you have a link to the shock? Thanks
that shock sucks! Here is the one I have now.... www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNVHBY7L?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
@@razorspeedfreak6508 thank you lol
where did you get the seat
The 3000watt kit , did it bolt up to the regular mounting ??

Can you leave me the link to the heat sink??
Heatsinkusa.com
How did you paint it? Is there a disassembly guide or something?
No, there is no assembly guide, just have to take pictures of how things go and tag them.
What would you say the weight of this would be?
Just under 100lbs
how did you mount the seat

So is it aftermarket? LOL

What kind of rear shock is that?
gas piston... it is about an inch taller then stock which is good for taller riders.
@@razorspeedfreak6508 do you have the name of that part?
They are selling for $788 in Amazon. Do you know what supplier you got it from? I'd buy it for $550 but not almost $800.
I got from Amazon. I just looked and they start at $526
@@razorspeedfreak6508 ok thanks brother. I'm sure it's a shortage having to with this manufactured crisis. Have a good one.
