Yt vids don’t convey the scale of these yachts well. I shudder every time I see someone with hopes of cursing but no experience call a 60 footer small… but an 80 footer? I cannot imagine trying to run an 80 footer with wife basically as your first boat! the docking stress alone, god forbid you break a halyard in a blow

I love the sound of the ocean water without engines, one of the things that makes sailing so cool: so relaxing (nothing like nature)... Solid sailing boat. It like the sipping natural light onto the lower deck, the area feels more spacious and it always reminds you that you are sailing (relaxing and exciting at the same time)...

I've been watching yachting videos for a few years now and I tend to prefer new, modern yachts with their big nice windows and all the modern design features. But I have to admit that this is a truly wonderful and beautiful yacht.

The first 'Mustang' was built on a Camper Nic hull. The saloon windows leaked like a bugger. I used to work at the AquaStar yard in Guernsey where they had a number of Ocean hull and deck moulds. Really should have made more use of them.
Great to see the legend that is Ann on the channel and hear her words of knowledge and wisdom. I could listen to her talk for hours about yachts. Great video as always.
What a beautiful little yacht. Love the layout, the use of natural light and the woodwork. That woodwork means there is no mistaking where you are, or the feelings of beauty and adventure it brings with it.

I owned an '85 CN 35. Sailed it in New England the entire time I had it. Loved the boat electrical construction was a disaster and the engine was a mess but as a sailing blue water boat it was great. Miss Arete.....

Now that….is a proper blue water boat. These modern IKEA surgical rooms are junk compared to this.
Beautiful classic yacht, one which would inspire pride in every port and anchorage I'm sure.
However for me, with respect to world cruising it's almost impossible to beat the modern catamarans and trimarans when you consider draft of 3ft as compared with 10ft, also areas for solar panels and self sufficiency, catamarans and trimarans win hands down.
But there's no doubting it's a beautiful yacht and extremely well priced. Tempting!!! 🤤🤤

For 1.5 million it should have a modern transom, sugar scoop at a minimum, with a fold down platform.
Dinghy davits, no storing the dinghy on deck....what a hassle island hopping. Should have a hard top
bimini with lots of solar. I.m sure it has a giant genset.....noisy and thirsty. Cutting edge world

It looks and sounds lovely, though I'm not sure my stomach could cope with sailing without very effective stabilisers. In saying that, I noticed a couple who have been under sail around the world felt the rough ride of a Silent catamaran in the Mediterranean, so maybe proper sailing isn't so bad.

For the size, layout, performance, comfort, and crew size, this is fantastic for an adventurous owner for the price it is a bargain.
If you increase the displacement under the bow and defended the bow from now dunk and wash then you can wing keel the most at the mast and blade keeling the headsails relative to the sail area ratio. Now you have least wind resistant keeling design and now displacement. You can sail upright and faster on the water. Omega-3 design.

It seems really small. Definitely needs a cabin update. That wood on creamy white just screams 1990. A nice boat, but nothing that wow's me.
Everything awesome, except, all that wood reminds me of the 19 voetsaks. I would definitely request upgrade or custom finishes. Also, so much seating, why two seats in the main cabin, I would prefer a bath.
The hull is amazing. That cabin looks lika a pagoda which is awful on a sailing yacht this category.
As of Sept 2024, asking price reduced to 1.25million. I guess no takers in 12 months indicates too high price.

Well,I didn't win the 1.3 billion dollar MegaMillions, so I can't get her this week. But when PowerBall or MegaMillions climbs back above 500mil, and I win, I will definitely give you a call....to get a Bering built in a custom 165' length and a 120' support yacht, but a starter yacht I can get right away and then sell in 2.5 years time when the Berings are done. Or just get that Kingship or a Feadship like Gallant Lady maybe....oh she's bee sold...well Lion Share or Sea Lion whatever, Impromptu, 4 Roses, maybe DB9.

This yacht price dropped now to $1.35. Very cheap for cash buyers. These yachts are undervalued because you can't get financing on a 35 year old boat. This is for a cash buyer, much like myself. ( 67 retired )

Hmm okay all well and good in the calm seas as shown but how does she handle in a storm of the North Sea or down in the roaring forties? I prefer to risk my life in a Jeremy Roger’s Contessa than something like this. Unimpressed until you video it in a force 8 or higher. After all it is meant to be a world cruiser.
