Barking at the door

Hugely proud of this team. They gave been diligently working together through the training it's showing.
Loki is unsure of both people in the house and the doorbell going. They both upset him and he gets vocal. What's made this challenging is that my presence in the house is hard for him, which makes it difficult to give directions to his human.
We are working on pairing the doorbell with following mum into the kitchen which is them reinforced with food. The "go to the mat and lie down" is a confidence building exercise to see if how much of this he can do with me in the room.
A few weeks ago, he couldn't be in the same room as me without barking.
Lots of positive reinforcement, the least amount of pressure as possible (me being in the room is pressure), no leads, no force, no painful tools or techniques (prong collars, slip leads etc), no "taking the dog's space."
