chill out, remove your bloody tampon and insert a new one. lots of pilots died... for some reason like almost all of them where german deaths, it was a hard plane to fly, but it served its purpose, and that was to go very fast4

oooh, thats a good pick. from someone that almost has the draken, almost every other tier v jet for sweden is lackluster. J29a gets a 8.7 uptier, the J28 is flimsy but has good control, and the other j29 i have no clue, i never used it. The top tier is worth it though imo

I love how this is at 9.7 with subsonics but Gaijin wouldn’t even add the lighting F.1 with the Mig 19 and F100 because it was ‘too fast’ and the hunter f.6 is at 10.0

Who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to put this thing in the game in the first place? It doesn't fit with the new meta and there is no appropriate BR to place it at competitively (exception being maybe the Chinese Starfighter, with its Aim-9J's)!

I like how James thinks like Italy has no super sonic jets the last patch and now they do are you just going to take away the only super sonic jet that Italy has. as a Italy player I mostly do air and yes I get the fact its not good at 9.7but Italy has it at 10.0 so it doesn't go agenst the 8.7 it can only go as low as 9.0

I was fooling with my friends taking biplanes to 10.3. The next day I flew my mig15 in a regular RB match and guess what? It felt the same.
Thank god I was able to play 8.7 before 1.99 when I was grinding to top tier. I’m not even gonna try to fly my mig 15 rn

Alexandr Zaykov maybe I’ll try to fly it again... It’s that I’ve seen so much criticism on the 8.7-9.7 range that I wanted to just stuck to top tier until it was fixed
@@Alonsooooo1 Really? Huh. Weird. Have not met any. Like yeah, you get uptiers, but you just have to change the playstyle. That is the main problem usually when people in fast but still subsonic/transsonic jets try to outspeed supersonics at high alt without trying to get them lower/maneuver.

......that's about right for the Vulcan.
The problem with the American F-104’s being at 10.0 and 10.3 is that they don’t have enough competitive missiles (only 2x aim-9b’s), and the A model overheats really quickly, making the afterburner useless later on in the battle. The A and C are fine at 9.7 if gaijin makes the non-missile armed 8.7’s and 9.0’s have a lower BR, OR they change the max up tier/downtier to 0.7 instead of 1.0
If this is 9.7 then the MiG-21F-13 should be, too.

10.7 MiG-21MF?(is it the german one), late phantoms. I also think war thunder just needs to ease off the grind and add way more jets for optional research. I want the Yak-28, MiG-21Bis, Su-17,MiG-21PF and so on. So many variants that could, if the grind wasn't insanely hard and not completely reliant on having a premium account, fill up the top tier matchmaking and have actual realistic battles and not bullshit mixed mm.
F86s, Mig-15s etc only subsonic jets without missiles/ should be 8.3, and first generation jets 7.0

Phly, the T-55AM-1 was moved down to 8.3; the same br as the normal T-55A. I recommend playing it just to see how good it is in a 7.3 downtier.

AIM-9Bs were buffed alongside all missiles and now they're like actually pretty good lmao. A 1x1 pixel resolution seekerhead literally took me out going full turn in a Fishbed once. I think the F9F at it's br with 4 of these might b a bit more meta than it seems

Don and Dennis pushed both throttles to full zone five afterburner (which was the maximum afterburner thrust setting for TF-30 engine) and took off to perform the same demonstration of the F-15: the sequence of the maneuvers was just like the Eagle’s one, but the Tomcat’s crew, during the knife-edge pass, decided to sweep the wings from fully swept to fully forward and then they executed a turn at the maximum Tomcat’s performance, producing a large cloud of vapor off the wings due to the shock wave.

Here’s something that most people really don’t realize: 10.0 jets and above *have their own matchmaker.* This means that 9.7 planes will always be top BR in any battle they are in. This is why both the F-104A and the Su-7 are amazing.

What I think is funny is that the MiG-19S is 10.3, slower than the F-104, less ammo, harder cannons to use and no AAMs. Pretty cool though.

the reason why it was 9.7 because historically the F-104 was built in 1954-55. It's fair to say that the jet was well ahead of it's time, it literally can go to space for a few seconds.
There were no other mach 2 fighter jets at the time and supersonic fighters were in their infancy^. However, thank god they increased the BR. The starfighter is still somewhat unkillable if the pilot flies it right.

The reasons, why I don't like to play airRB anymore: literally every match is a mixedbattle, unbalanced and every match ends in 300 m alt.... imagine how cool it would be to fight above 10 km and mach 2
People fail to understand that the diamond mark highlighting the missile lasts for 3 seconds then disappears. That tells me people haven’t actually played the event.
