So fun story, half way through one of these rounds the locking mechanism on my chair broke, so suddenly there was an almighty crack and while trying to evade enemies i went lurching backwards at the speed of light xD

At least you were not flying a Cessna at the time. The seat rails in those tend to break a lot, causing the pilot to suddenly slam all the way back and, of course, take the yoke with him. causes some pretty messy incidents with the FAA and the manufactures. Not sure how you fail to make a good seat rail.

My brother had an antique chair go out on him while playing Read Alert against his friend back in the day. I walked in right when it happened. The back separated from the seat and he went down hard. Had 2 wicked furrows going up his back from the nails in the chair. So I got a good laugh at big bro lol

I did the math! going from 203 mph to 0 in half a second would subject the pilot to ~18g's. Although a constant force of 18g's would probably kill someone, half a second of g's would leave the pilot mostly unharmed(unless the whiplash breaks their neck or the shrapnel or the explosion and resulting fire kills them)!
@@espressocookie8965 The pilot might survive with no permanent injury, or rather likely severe bruising and possible fractures near the ribcage or shoulders (that's where the straps are holding them in, after all). However, between the sheer acceleration they're sustaining, and the impact of said straps and seating on their body, it's not likely they'll be able to move for a few minutes; if they're lucky they'll clamber out ten minutes later, stumbling and possibly concussed; if they're not, they'll be engulfed in flames before they can come close to recovery. Additionally this assumes the aircraft doesn't cave in from in front and beneath them - it might not.. but it probably will, enough to crush their legs in.
@@espressocookie8965 unfortunately they would not be unharmed. Most car crashes happen bellow 150mph. Car crashes going 203 mph would cause someone’s head to become mashed potatoes. Any crash would probably do that. Most fatal injuries from crashes of any sort would be punctures and brain damage. Key words would be brain injuries. Imagine throwing an egg against the wall at 203 mph. That’s essentially your head in your skull.

Contrary to popular belief, the F-82 wasn’t just 2 P-51’s strapped together, the dimensions are physically different from P-51’s the F-82 is slightly longer, the wings and tail are also different
To be precise, it's really 2x P-51H's exactly.

I have always enjoyed the "team work" 😜 from the guys on this channel, but with this video they were really working together. Excellent communication, and playing off of each others situation. When I watch them play with the tanks and other armored vehicles they use a lot of military vernacular. This makes me believe that at least one if not all of them are prior or current military service. I was US Army for roughly 15 years, and most of it was as a 12B Combat Engineer (Heavy Mechanized). Listening to their back and forth communication reminds me of inter vehicle and intra vehicle comms. Keep the vids coming guys. I love your energy.
One of the older members was USMC but he doesn’t really play with them on camera much anymore. They also are all way into this stuff and so have picked it up through osmosis
These guys use more communication in this game than I do in my daily life

I use the F82 as one of my SL grinding planes, using the 2 2000lb bombs first to destroy a base and then climbing with the speed from my dive and usually getting a kill or too as well! Great plane!

The F-82's laser .50 cals are something to fear. I generally don't encounter them that often and often they are poorly flown. But get in front of one and you will see God.

Bo if you read this I have a suggestion for a podcast basically based on the fact the name of the device is so bloody cool! Sounds like something out of a 50s sci fi movie.
It's a miniature radar device that basically meant radar could be much easier to fit in aircraft.
It's the CAVITY MAGNETRON. I believe was a British design that was part of the huge bag of military designs handed to the USA during ww2. As a Brit I'm pretty proud of that handing over of our best technology. I think it would make a great podcast. The Magnetron for one but also the list of tech we shared with our allies.
