Thanks for such an informative video. I've got an 03 MK4 Jetta tdi alh. I'm running the stock 10mm injection pump but have an 11mm I took off a PD. I'm wanting to have it rebuilt with new seals etc and although I'm sure I can get it done, I'll definitely have a qualified person do the work.
I think you mean that you have the 11mm pump off of the Automatic, not the PD. The PDs didn't have VE Pumps. In truth, the 10MM eTDI injection pump is capable of 300HP. I'm not bs'ing you there. Tekmektronics tested it's capability with the John Deere SV356 turbo. There is no need to swap it out, unless you plan to make much more than that. If you do plan to get the pump rebuild, look up Verlin Martin. He can make pumps that flow @ 50% higher than the rated capacity. The current record is 43X HP I believe, and that's with a custom 12MM eTDI pump. Best of luck!

That depends on a ton of factors: lift, tire size and weight, rim size and weight, gearing, aerodynamics of vehicle ETC. I know with the CJ I get 30 MPG driving 55 MPH with 33 mud tires, and 4.10 gears. Kyle Meister gets 20 MPG in Wyoming doing 80 MPH in a Dakota on one ton axles, and some decently sized tires with an AW4.
