Interested seeing your wiring set-up for CEL/Glow Plug light. Have been running a TDI swap in my Vanagon for a couple of years with neither of them completely turning off. My harness had a flying lead (wire) from the ECU for both those lights to the 1982 Vanagon panel. Can I assume using the 2N2222, that they would shut off..? Nice video and thanks..!
They both are on my group TDI Swaps. I left TDI swapped trucks due to their inability to remove a certain vendor that was doing wrong in my eyes. Hence why these videos on wiring are here.
Hey, people learn differently. At least with this video people have a thorough understanding of what each wire does. I didn't go into voltages or resistances, but it should work for most people. Just think, people are taking those diagrams I made, and trying to sell homemade harnesses. Scumbags gotta scum, I guess.
Best Harnas video ever
Thank you for all the work you put in to gather this information and explaining for people. Yet another great video!

Yes, I did. I'm thinking this is Bruce and you talked with my brother already.
Thanks for this video! Is this spreadsheet available on the Facebook group? I looked, but it looked like an older one was on there.

TekMekTronics. Nelson Martin. They are on Facebook.
pin 116 /121 is not ground it modulates the QA using pulse width modulation (PWM)
You learn something new every day. Thank you.
Do you know what pins 20 and 27 actually do? I'm swapping into a b5 chassis and I've been trying to figure it out for days
And to think I'm over here videoing your diagrams laying on a hotel bed 😂
