    Can’t wait for my test results!thanks for sharing your story.Just out of interest did you have many food sensitivities?

    • @thevitalityproject
      @thevitalityproject  3 роки тому

      Yes, they shouldn't be far off now.. My food sensitivities were much lower this time - possibly because I knew what most of them were so wasn't eating them. Millet, rye and a couple other things that I've got no problem avoiding!

    Thanks for the video greg, really give me lot of strength facing eczema. Is there any ways to relieve itchiness

    • @thevitalityproject
      @thevitalityproject  3 роки тому +1

      That's good to hear.. Itching is all about inflammation. The more you can reduce inflammation in your life, ie foods, habits, weather etc, the more it will help. Cold wraps can help for specific areas. Meditation, relaxation. Reduce stress as much as you can. Drink lots of water to flush through. Sweating can also help, to purge out irritation that is sitting below the skin.

    What functional lab tests are important to do when you are trying to heal from eczema? Also where do you get these tests done?

    • @thevitalityproject
      @thevitalityproject  3 роки тому

      Gut testing, hormone testing, intolerance testing are the foundational ones. We offer them via our practice www.thevitalityproject.co.uk

    Imo vegan/plant based diets don’t fully work long term for a number of reasons. I actually went fully carnivore for a period of 6 months which allowed me to heal the gut lining and gradually reintroduced safer carbs, nothing to high in lectins and oxalates. Other things I done was detoxification of heavy metals using binders like bentonite and zeolites. However before that I suggest colostrum to heal the gut lining, treat gut infections and repopulate gut flora. Generally changing the terrain works miracles.
    I done a organic acids test, DUTCH test, CDSA by Geneva, all of them good indicators but simply just going back to basics like the above is what helped me.
    Also important to have organic where possible, with grass fed meats, free range organic eggs etc.

      Based on research available, the carnivore diet is problematic in the long-term. It can appear more beneficial than plant-based diets in the short term since you are removing pretty much every possible thing that might be aggravating your gut.

      It varies between people :) For some, the acid forming nature of animal products prevents deep healing from taking place, so we have to find another way. Grain-free plants with gut mucosal support can be that other way.
