Clay Bank Anti-Clockwise - Singletrack Special - North Yorkshire Moors Mountain Biking

- Parking up at the Clay Bank car park on the edge of the North York Moors. We head up steeply for a short climb then down onto some loose rocky singletrack in an anti-clockwise direction. Some ridge riding and incredible views, with each descent getting better throughout the ride. Singletrack heaven!

Well you can't go wrong with Swaledale, but this is a good route in the North York Moors mate. One of my faves in fact 👍

Tried it last year on my hibike almountain 4, ended in disaster,went over backwards climbing that slab path at the start and nettled myself to death. I'm hoping to give it another go very soon,remembering to bring the first aid kit with me.
It's a naughty climb, particularly with any water on the ground. Rewarding when you get up there though. Hope it goes better for you next time mate, its a decent ride 👍
