My story: So I have been waxing my hair since many years now. I tried going back to shaving frequently but somehow now I have realized that shaving is just not meant for me. The after cuts, the itchiness, the rough skin, excessive dryness and what not that comes with it, It is so uncomfortable for me. And not to forget how fast the hair grows back! And my hair growth is tremendous! I have really thick black hair too. P.S Waxing have been proved far more convenient for me. Why? Firstly, the hair growth is very slow, The skin feels moisturized not rough due to the natural creaminess of wax, I do not experience itchy uncomfortable surface. I never experienced immense pain while waxing. For the first time when my mom did it on me, I was in pain not gonna lie, but after sometime, your body automatically adapts it and you do not feel any pain after that. Same thing happened with me. I am still going to my waxing lady every month, One thing try not switching up your waxing lady, go to the same one, this way you will be comfortable with her. I know it costs you more than shaving but atleast I feel good after it. Also, my leg hair is very thick so waxing fits me right in there and underarms especially. I dont shave or wax down there, I just trim using scissors. So, If you are one of those who feel like if I should permanently go for waxing? Will it be a good choice? My answer to You is YES! Just keep the above points in mind. Have a great day! (EDIT- Few more points I would like to add- -Waxing also clears and rejuvenates your skin by pulling hair from the roots and also remove dead skin cells which in turn gives you a fresh new skin underneath. - If you cannot afford going to the salon/parlor every month, Buy a wax box and strips set, it is hardly for 100-200 Rs. and you can do waxing at the comfort of your home. You can even take your mom's/sister's help incase you need it or do it on your own.

Well shaving works for me and some ppl have minimal growth 🤷🏻♀️and I guess half of the country uses Venus as it is affordable and easily available . So yeah the video was usefull.
Well for me shaving works too. Although i dont have smoothest skin. But during my waxing days too it was not as smooth. And plus the whole waxing procedure seems like waste after getting used to shaving 😍
And plus she doesn't have negligible hair. As shown in the video. I have been shaving since past 2 years and i have very similar growth. And maybe shaving works for this much growth and thinner hair ppl. Maybee..!
Gonna shave my body hair ...Really needed tips....There comes my savior, the person who inspires me evryday to be a better person ❤ Talking and addressing stuff like an elder sister....She is truly An Angel in my life😇😇
I totally agree it’s an individual’s choice to use any form of hair removal method (if any at all). But personally, I believe instead of giving atleast 10mins shaving every other day (like you said you do), it’s better to go for 6-8 full body laser sessions (2 hours each) and literally get over with most of it. So convenient and definitely won’t have to bother yourself doing it every other day for years (10 so far in your case). That’s just my personal opinion as I feel at peace after getting it all lasered- but ofcourse to each his own! xx
Laser sessions maybe convenient in long term but it is also very expensive and not everyone can afford laser hair removal. Shaving is affordable and can be done at home itself and it hardly takes like 15 minutes to shave
@@sanjananair29 Hence why I said it’s an individual’s choice, I just shared mine. It’s just more convenient for me to have one less thing to worry about at any point of the day. The cost factor is very subjective for each person- that’s why to each his own! Let’s all do what works for us! :)

Hi Mals. Just to tell everyone that not all skins are the same. I tried shaving my face by following mals previous videos and it grew back thicker and in more quantity and now my life sucks 😭😭😭. So think well if you want to go ahead. I have been using queen's shave100 shave oil for more than a year and have never been disappointed. Been shaving for 15 years - have tried soaps, shampoos, conditioners - none work like this one. All of them do nothing but just dry out my skin because of the chemicals in them. Same with foams & creams. This one is all-natural & leaves my skin feeling b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. Although not available everywhere, this one is on amazon & I feel Malvika hasn't tried this one yet :P I hope she does as she is a regular shaver & only once she or anyone else does, will they know what experience I am talking about! :)

After shaving we mostly become like cactus when the baby hair starts coming out. That doesn't happen with waxing. How can we prevent ourselves from becoming cactus-y 😣😣
shaving does not go to roots thats why it comes sooner.. with wading it will take longer time to grow back.. it does no related with shaving.. so if you like shaving go ahead
You can't really shave your back, i recommend someone else do it for you or get waxed. As for the bikini line and the surrounding parts, take a warm shower and make sure to scrub the area before shaving. Afterwards, apply aloe gel.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS for PREVENTING RAZOR BUMPS and INGROWN HAIRS 1. THOU SHALT NOT USE DIRTY BLADES! Using a blade that's been used way too many times. Yes, this one may be obvious, but be sure to keep your used tools as clean as possible. Soap and rubbing alcohol will destroy bacteria. Pro Tip: even brand new blades need to be cleaned. 2. HONOR THY DELICATE SKIN! Too many blades! If you are prone to ingrown hairs then you don’t need 3 or more blades. More blades equal more passes causing the hair to fall beneath the skin and become ingrown plus more blading the skin leads to micro cuts through which bacteria is more likely to enter and this leads to razor burn. 3. DO NOT TAKE PREP TIME IN VAIN! You should be using a warm/hot water prep (3-5 mins). Then leave the shaving cream on for more than 2-3 minutes to really soften the hair. The hair stubble should literally fall away with little or no pressure at all. Pressing hard is the problem! Be gentle ya'll. 4. THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE GRAIN! Shaving against the grain (upwards) may get you a closer shave but doing so also increases ingrowns. Shave in the direction of hair growth…it’s usually downwards. Check by doing a face/ body inspection to see which way your hair grows. 5. THOU SHALT NOT PRESS! Pressing too hard on the skin with the blade. A gliding, light touch is all you need. This is likely your biggest issue. 6. THOU SHALT NOT PASS, PASS, PASS! Too many quick passes with the blade. One pass per hairy area - going 1-2 inches downward at a time - will prevent ingrown hairs. Always shave like you might cause damage, not like your mowing the front yard lawn. 7. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT OVER SHAVING! Shaving too many times. This rule is hard to follow, especially if you have to be beardless for your career…but if you are prone to ingrowns, try shaving with an electric clipper (the barber kind of clippers). The results are not super close but no one but you will know the difference. Ladies: try waxing, Nair, or an epilator provided your skin can handle these alternatives. 8. THOU SHALT NOT CLOG! Use of skin/pore clogging creams or lotions keep hairs from growing up. After a shave, keep your skin bare; let the tiny army breath, and allow those newly shaved, really small, microscopic hairs to grow out just in time for the next shave. If your objective is smooth, bump-free skin following a shave or wax then, right after, your goal should be to allow the skin to heal first. Promote healing by proper shaving techniques followed by 70% rubbing alcohol (this kills any bacteria that may enter those micro cuts created from the shave). Using a dab of TendSkin prevents the onset of razor burn. Sure your skin will be a little dry at first but this is a temporary tradeoff. Give it a few hours then let the moisturizing commence! 9. KEEP THY SMOOTH SKIN FREE! At least for the first day or two, try to avoid tight fitting clothing around the Adam’s apple (neck) and/or below the waistline region. Newly shaved hair follicles need room to raise up. 10. REMEMBER TO EXFOLIATE! Whether you shave, sugar, wax or epilate, not enough exfoliation to remove excess layers of skin can lead to ingrown hairs. There are two types: chemical exfoliation (AHA, BHAs) and physical exfoliation (beads, coffee scrubs, gloves, brushes). Use an ingrown hair brush for razor bumps as directed. Make sure it’s a brush that has gentle bristles designed to tease newly shaved hairs away from entering the skin before they can become ingrown. If you have sensitive skin, then go with the soft and firm bristles. The Wizker brush has both options. If you follow these 10 tips religiously, you’ll prevent razor bumps and ingrown hairs permanently!

Maybee..!
Vertical shave is greatest trick Malvika ❤️loved it
Gonna shave my body hair ...Really needed tips....There comes my savior, the person who inspires me evryday to be a better person ❤ Talking and addressing stuff like an elder sister....She is truly An Angel in my life😇😇
This is the most simple and effective routine no extra complicated steps I liked this video
@@sonalitomar57 can you share the total cost of laser session

girllll i remember when i was in high school 12 class and then i saw your video on shaving and today girl i will say thatsss the best vlogger 😍😍i ever have now am going to be a dr in next year and i just love that how i switched myself to shaving from waxing and itssss 😍😍😍😍love malssss
Hi Mals. Just to tell everyone that not all skins are the same. I tried shaving my face by following mals previous videos and it grew back thicker and in more quantity and now my life sucks 😭😭😭. So think well if you want to go ahead. I went back to threading for upper lips and flawless hair remover accessory for chin hairs (even tho it still counts as shaving) but I have no choice as it keeps on growing back every day. But for body I'm shaving like Mals. Keep up the good work 😘😘
Appreciate ur efforts and the way u illustrate the process.......
Hey Malvika thank you for the video!!!! It was really informative and u r like an elder sister who shares her experiences and gives us tips n suggestions 🥰😘😘😘😘love you
It's just.....THE END.....NO MORE Confusion left...hey girl you know every tiny details what every viewer will have in their mind and explained it all thoroughly....you just dil jeet lia Mera aaj.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This video is sooo real and raw. Thankyou for showing how normal body hair is and how it is a personal choice to get rid of it and a form of self care. sending virtual hugs!
Thank you Malz for recommending Gillette Venus razor. I straight away go to the store and bought it and i loved it! It is really easy to manoeuvre and suitable for sensitive skin.
I had always loved her videos.. but today I felt like commenting ..
🙈. dude she is so honest to her audience..great job malz❤
Great tips! I wish I knew about shaving before burning my armpits with hair removal cream 😭
Woww I really appreciate how you even showed shaving your underarms which all the girls are insecure of ❤️ Thankyou gor this video . Very informative 🤗♥️
Plz plz do a video on affordable lip glosses loving your glossy lip looks😍
You are truly a pure soul🥺...loved it thank you for the explanation😘...it was must needed ♥️
Hey! Just don’t use s roll on on your underarms after shave, as it does have a fragrance which might harm , it’s purely my opinion ❤️rest is upto you❤️ thankyouuu for sharing this! It was a much needed video😊
Only video I've watched from the beginning to the very end. Amazing informative video !!
hii mals! you are such an inspirational person ! lysm i have been watching your channel since the age of 14 and watched you getting better and best . the only thing which differs you from other vloggers is the connectivity , like you easily connect with people. you make each and every video lively as a situation. during this lockdown, watching your vdeos helped me and motivated me a lotttttt. I am from chennai ,so nanri and vanakkam mals for being such a positive , inspiring and jovial vlogger

Really explained well...I also hate pain with underarms...Thank you so much for such a good and informative video ❤️
I just watched an old mals video on shaving yesterday and today she is with a new one.
Ma'am i feel like shaving has made my underarms really dark .. its makes me feel very awkward to wear clothes i love . Can you please share any tips ?
There's a REALLY helpful video on "glamrs"
@@shreyagoswami5270 thank you❤

Use loofa everyday ..it will help you to get rid of dark underarms nd dead skin
Apply aloe vera gel before bed everynight, use a loofa.
Sorry off topic… What lenses are you using? They look fab..
Every sunday is like a booom for me. Absolutely loving mals content especially in the sundays ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ lots of love to you mals.
Yess this was what I wanted to see... That diagonal method of shaving was the hit I never thought it that way
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
After shaving we mostly become like cactus when the baby hair starts coming out. That doesn't happen with waxing. How can we prevent ourselves from becoming cactus-y 😣😣
True
Exactly! That's why waxing is better
@@nidhyajoseph1457 yeaahh exactly.
I waxed from the starting but then the problem of cactus didn't turn up. My skin looked so good. Now it looks so strange.
Keep shaving. Just don't let it grow. That's the way you avoid being cactusy.
I just love the way you explain every single detail ❤️ lots of love 😘😘
After shaving, hair growth is increased and I start getting longer n thicker hair as opposed to post waxing. Am I doing shaving in a wrong way?
shaving does not go to roots thats why it comes sooner.. with wading it will take longer time to grow back.. it does no related with shaving.. so if you like shaving go ahead
Honestly the most helpful video i found on shaving ❤❤
Damn needed this malz please also do a video about hyaluronic acid and vitamin C for people in early 20s. It's so confusing!!
Thank you, I always had few doubts regarding shaving. Specially the direction I wanted to know. thank you, I always enjoy watching you. Love you
Was waiting for this video.❤️u are amazing
Malvika would make such a wonderful teacher ❤️❤️
How do you do it for your back and bikini line ??
Would love to listen about that!
Akhil does that for her
You can't really shave your back, i recommend someone else do it for you or get waxed. As for the bikini line and the surrounding parts, take a warm shower and make sure to scrub the area before shaving. Afterwards, apply aloe gel.
I needed this madly!! Thanks Malz for this video...
Hey this was great! Can you do a tutorial on face shaving as well!
I believe exfoliating the body prior to shaving works really well if you have strawberry legs
O my god i wz missing u really badly... n here d angel is😍😊😊
Luv u malz stay blessed
Maa'm this video is really helpful for me as I will shave nd my hands for the first time. Thank you so much for this lovely video.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS for PREVENTING RAZOR BUMPS and INGROWN HAIRS
Mals love you for your authenticity ❤️you deserve the world 🌸
Moral of the video is Hair or no hair nobody else should care😂
Love you Mals🔥💯
Just a suggestion for a video which you can make is "buying from small businesses" and doing a haul of it. Only if you like the idea..i hope you like the idea

Hi mallu 💜
Which lipstick are you wearing? Is it Matty or glocy
Why did you delete the post of the master class donation? And where did all our money that we donated go? Atleast be transparent and atleast update us or show us how much money went to whom... But you just deleted that post... We are not fools here investing our hard earned money into something that isn't transparent to us. That's actually shady... The class was on 15 th may and so much time has passed by but you haven't updated about where did all the money that we donated go.. disappointed once again with you!!
Dear you shouldn't donate money to anywhere cause scams like this happen feeling sad for you...
Edit- keep smiling 😊
Hey, you got laser done, right?? Was that impactful? Please tell
do we have to shave our hair near the breast like near the collar bone and on the breast(around the nipple) and the stomach??
Hey Yara , I do kinda shave around my nipple as i have numerous long hair there..I want to get it off with for long but I am too scared to wax 😭..@malvika please tell us how you wax there girl🙏
I usually pluck them..
Its absolutely okay to shave in these areas. I do too. No issue at all. Infact its so smooth after ❤️
@Sunaina Stargirl same😆😆
Thanks ❤️❤️❤️ so much I realised I used wrong way of direction now I know the correct and improved way ❤️❤️❤️thanks
