Hey man.
Did you have any problems with the engine after doing the launch control tune? a tuner in my area said that it is not safe for the engine and especially for the piston rods, to tune launch control into it.
I am wondering if this has caused any issues yet. I guess that if you have used it for almost an year it should give you an idea for reliability. I am also planning for a lower power output, if that might help.

@@Brandn_L33 thanks mate, have you got a build thread online anywhere or a printout of the dyno sheet? Just I've been told repeatedly that this engine cannot be altered compression ratio-wise and as a result of that can't go north of 230hp. Forgive my scepticism, just intrigued 👍
Have bought 16T and 550cc injectors, having turbo recon'd and sorted with billet wheel and will be speaking to shemtek for remap. Cheers pal 👍
Theese 2.0t volvo sounds better than a vq its like better no fart noise
i remember reading a long time ago the 2.0t could not do 300bhp due to the piston compression limits or something... guess it was wrong

Hi. Are the rods and pistons string enought to resist to antilag? I have an '08 2.0T with 16t and blue inject and my tuner said that stock rods will not resist to antilag. How long did you had this on?
I think the older 2.0 has forged internals similar to focus st mk1 so it should do just fine

Stock internals can take about 450-500bhp

Squire T The insurance difference is the only reason I went for 2.0t, all modifications are in the video description, I’m based in the UK and used Shemtek for the remap.

I also have a S60 P2 2.0T , and tuned it made 330hp. What's grades about your 100-200 km/h? Less than 13 sec?

Hey man looking to buy one of these as a sort of daily driver, what mileage of the car is best value for money, and if these can be driveable- to a comfortable extent- with no major faults with about 100k miles on the clock?

Naliin Suthakaran Same as all cars if they have been well maintained they will last for ever obviously all cars have issues but I have not had any issues even with all the modifications and 110k miles, there is Volvo owners groups on Facebook which are good to join and the people are always there to help.

Pistuhen Shvarcen Standard it was 2.0t with 12T making 180hp

Who did your tune? And so technically I can make my 2.5t with 16t do exactly this eh
Assoluto Community The tune was done by Shemtek here in the UK, all the other modifications were done by myself after taking to Shem about possible parts and power outputs, good tuner should be able to recommend the best mods to suit your needs, Volvo owners groups on Facebook are also a good discussion place.

@@hunter.220 small, but packs a punch. Ive got a snowmobile with 280 hp, and it's a 4 banged 1 L. And ive seen a guy with 380 HP in one, no problem to spruce it to a bit

I have a 04 s60 2.0t ...660 injectors and gt35 turbo and remap doing 358bhp to the wheels

I just found out the 2.0T is actually also a 5 inline ✌👍🏼
T5 = Turbo 5 cylinder. Same engine In 09 focus rs
