Wow it came out beautiful! I agree with you on the break in . I've done a few engine break ins in the winter months and they never came out as good as doing it in warm weather so I'm glad your waiting especially with that gorgeous motor 👍 . Nothing beats a losi eight truggy or buggy kit in quality handling or speed ! I can't wait to see it in action but it will be worth the wait 👍
nice i just drove mine today the only thing i would change on it is the center diff brace because it is aluminum and since the engine is right next to it conducts heat causing your throttle/break servo to overheat and possibly fail.
yeah they seem nice but iv herd nothing but good from reefs and figured for my dream build i wanted them lol maybe ill try sendit ones in something else down the line
Nice build, I'm looking at someday buying my first nitro vehicle either an 8ight XT like yours or a 8ight T RTR in the future. trying to decide if i want to cheap out and get the RTR 8ight-T or go all out with the 8ight-XT\XTE since it has both electric and nitro powerplant options. Currently i'm building both an 1,100KV HW X-Maxx and an Outcast 8s EXB so it will be awhile before i decide on my first Nitro rig.
If its your first nitro I would go rtr 8ight t it's a solid rtr and when you get mad and throw it it won't feel as bad lol nitro is fun but can be super frustrating but it's awesome I like it all 2 stroke electric and nitro
@@chefbeardsly I was considering the 8ight-T RTR since it's a mostly affordable way to get into nitro. And i did find a Losi electric conversion kit on Amain but it's really intended for an older 8ight-T kit like the 2.0 or 3.0. So i would have to buy parts to build all new diffs for it to make it all work.
@@chefbeardsly thanks for letting me know . I’ve got one coming this week and I’m going to watch all your videos. I’m doing the electric build but I know I’ll still learn a lot. It’s been a while since I’ve done a kit build and I’m excited definitely going to take my time and enjoy it and do it right.
Ok chef , my kit came today . I’m at the part where I need to install the first set rods/turnbuckles on the front end assembly. (From top of the c-hub to the bottom of the shock tower((front camber))There is 3 sets of turnbuckles/rods long/78mm.. medium/71.5 and short 67.4 do you happen to remember which ones go where ? Highly appreciate any help ! The kits so new and niche it’s hard to google anything or get any help. You mentioned this part wasn’t clear in the manual and you are right. I won’t ask you a billion questions . But I might need help and there. .if that’s ok, this is not my first rodeo but I want to get this one right. :) also I’ve been following Ryan Dundord’s live build..
@@chefbeardsly well that’s only logical ! Thank you sir ! Enjoyed watching you live for a few today. Can’t wait until you get to crank up that Novarossi engine !
probably a little over a grand but you can cut corners you dont need to get reefs servos and what not but its my dream build so i got what i wanted lol

Clean build! I'm looking forward to the first run!
Super sweet build. Servos are super fast. 👊👊👍👍
Looks awesome. I agree, do it right. It’s an investment, no reason to half ass it. I am still waiting for my kit to ship to my LHS.

I dont remember but I'm going out to the shed to do some stuff I'll measure them out and get back to you today
So the ones with the bigger rod ends go in the back the medium rod ends go in the front and the smallest rod ends are for stearing
