I have the same build, and am lucky to get 8 minutes run time on race day, is this normal or do the new batteries need a few charge cycles so they last last longer

You didn't specify the servo torque or speed. Aren't those values important?

What's this full build run? To have a running truck, been researching these and really interested
Kit $750 ish; Motor/esc (Tekin rx8 2250kv combo) $330; Tires/Wheels $110; Servo $160 (Protek 170TBL) = $1,350. Radio/Receiver depends on what you use. 4s Lipo = $60-$160 depending on brand and specs. Plus you need a battery charger.
Sucks that E-truggy gets shunned as a class.

do you guys have a 17.5 spektrum motor i really like the not having to solder up a motor i like the plug and play that comes with the spektrum
