The KZ bluetooth module is really important for me as a kz fan using phones without 3.5mm jack .really imp for me. I hope to get the Fiio bluetooth receiver for wired listening😁
I haven't tested the Chu2 yet, but from what I've heard, it's not as bright as the first generation. I did find the ZEX to be a bit on the shrill side of things in the highs and upper mids. If you're not sensitive to that region, it should be fine for you.
For listening to symphonic death metal songs where guitar riffs layered on vocal screaming along would you recommend these? Is the sound stage well balanced to differentiate the vocals from the overall music? 😊
These have good separation, but I found them to be on the sibilant side for me. Crashes, bangs, and percussion might be a little on the shrill side for some people with these, so if you're sensitive to higher frequencies, I'd suggest you consider something else. I grew very fond of the KZ ZSN Pro X. It's a good all-rounder, in my opinion.

These Zex's are nice but I find them to be a bit on the sharper side. You could consider the ZSN Pro X. I quite liked them. Feel free to give my review on them a look.

The ZEX has a similar fit and so do the CRA. If in ears are uncomfortable for you these may cause discomfort or pain. The Blon BL03 I found to fit very well and are a great first IEM to own as well.

Hi Hari, sadly I haven't tested the EDX yet. But of all the KZ Acoustics IEMs I've tested so far, I'm happy to say I haven't been disappointed yet with any of them. I've got a review on the ZSN Pro X coming next and the CCA CRA too and they aren't a slouch at all.

I've heard about this many months ago. I think there was some drama about this and drivers giving up, but I've not followed up about it. The unit I reviewed sounded fine. It's worthwhile having a look at some forums to know whether or not KZ addressed this issue.
In ears can get uncomfortable for some people. I've never liked using them for long listening sessions because I do feel discomfort in my ear canal after some time. Using the smaller ear tips can help.

I found the Zex to be a little too bright for me. The ZSN Pro X is a little more subtle in its delivery.

These can tend to be a little too bright for my taste compared to the Hola. Feel free to watch my review on it if you haven't already.
Can we use this with 3.5 to USB c type connector ?
I've tested these using a DAC AMP that connects to my phone via USB C and I plug the earphones into its 3.5mm auxiliary slot.

Both can be quite bright sounding. I did prefer the Zex over the Cra though.

I don't have any plans to, but I did listen to the pro 2 briefly recently. It's not as bright as the ZEX, so I do prefer it.

Recently purchased soundmagic e11c...Very comfortable to wear,good build quality n good sound signature...Overall happy with the product...
bro dont buy Blon. not because of its sound, no doubt they sound great but the cable is very cheap quality. you will have to change it anytime
