Everyone of your songs is so good, Aeryth! It’s so incredible in how you blend the original version with your own flair, oftentimes elevating it to new heights! I’ve listened to every upload now, after finding your cover of Le Haa. That’s still one of my favorites, though I think Endwalker might have overtaken it. Please don’t stop, you’re on the long road to fame but you definitely have the talent, and I fully expect you to grow far beyond these meager views! I’ll be here for the journey, excited to listen to whatever you make next!

So this composition is so amazing. I know Nobuo was wanting a melody that stood apart from other themes but this brings in a bitter sweetness to the melody. I think the original chorus lines really needed more dissonance and tension and this shows it can be done.

I had a lot of thoughts after listening to this, especially about the chorus part, so I apologize in advance for the wall of text 🙏 In the original version, I feel that the underlying emotion are "hopes and prayers", a wish of a future meeting. I imagine a scene in a typical Japanese drama, a lady had to part with her love, she stood on the train platform while her beloved is inside the train, hand pressed against the window looking at her. She uttered a wish, "may we meet again somewhere someplace someday" 🤗 In this cover version, the emotion I got were "drive and determination", a conviction to push forward and make the effort to reunite with a loved one. On this, my thoughts went to scenarios like a hero going through a castle to save his love one that has been kidnapped by a villain. Or things like disaster movies where the main character goes through storms or tornados to save a loved one trapped in a building. It has a conviction like "no matter what, I will see her again and we will be reunited soon!" 💪 That "pushing forward" feeling in your version of the chorus really give me a strong sense of excitement and anticipation for Part 3 and I love it so much, even though it will make the 3 year wait for the next game even harder to endure as I listen to this 😅 Another amazing cover and I really can't wait for your next ones! 💖
