I agree, not every card needs to be graded or to be graded for "stonks". On the flip side, to be registered and authenticated into PSA's "Set Registry". A LOT of old heads put together entire sports card sets (mainly vintage). Sometimes the grade doesn't matter as long as the card isn't a fake. Personally I don't care to have graded master sets but I guess someone people like to see their name up there on PSA's website lol.
Objective rarity Vs condition rarity. Just depends what sort of collector you are. I prefer objective rarity but do like my cards mint. Would buy all my cards raw if some sellers were more honest with condition.

Pretty cool. There probably needs to be more pushback on the grading obsession thing. It seems to have greatly negatively affected things. Everyone only cares about a 10 grade, yet the same card will randomly get a 9 or 10 just depending on the given day.
@@okatutaku1994 Watch a few PSA return videos and you’ll see how the grades can be all over the place. And sometimes PSA (and especially BGS) intentionally restricts how many “10s” they give out solely to keep exclusivity and keep people submitting cards in hopes that they get the elusive 10 grade. It’s all bullshit tho, like when they gave Logan Paul’s Charizard a BGS 10. And yes, a lot of people are only obsessed with PSA 10s. They’ll pay more for a PSA 10 with completely bad centering than a PSA 9 that has actual better quality.

People were paying 400k for a 10 graded charizard, they weren’t paying 400k for a mint condition ungraded charizard. Even if the mint ungraded quality was actually better then the 10 graded one, people would rather take the 10. Obviously there’s some out there who prefer ungraded and unslabbed cards; just saying that’s the minority now. Now it’s all about “MY PSA RETURNS!!!” “PSA 10 BLUE EYES SOLD FOR $80,000!!!” “Grading my cards that I’m going to send to PSA!!!” “MY BGS GRADED CARDS CAME IN!!!” “MY ENTIRE PSA 10 collection!!!” Etc etc
Charlie's collection is a BEAUTY. I'd love to have at most an MFC Dark Magician Girl and an SDY Dark Magician in good state... the guy has pretty much everything. Crazy and great to see so much passion for collecting these!
Watching these has gotten me all Nostalgic, I bought about 50 or so cards, some I had as a kid, and some that are newer that I like, and some that I always wanted, and I got a 1st Edition Winged Dragon of Ra in the mail today, I always wanted Ra, and I have all of the support cards coming as well, great videos Ruxin34 and Moistcritical, so many memories.
He’s got a wonderful collection and it’s so cool how he’s displayed them, but it’s nowhere near the “best.” Just based on the DDS set you can likely assume many of these cards are nowhere near NM condition. Still, beautiful display pieces. That’s very unique!
I think he knows, just wants to exaggerate for the views. SS, Vintage, Schloast, Tim, yourself, and many others not on youtube have collections worth 10x Charlie's.

At the end ,the best collection Will be what you want to have hehe, of curse, his collection is amazing and have a very pretty view. I think he says "rarest missprint" because names, images, rarities and more is "normal" to see, but just maybe, is the only ghost with missprint. Very cool video.
I love his thoughts on graded cards I think its a load of crap that some rando can one day give a card a 10 and on another give a 8 to same card and that makes the difference of the card being $3500 or $200 and diminishes raw cards value but hey allows me to get great cards for dirt cheap haha

I can't believe people would compare Ruxin34 to that joke of a guy Charlie. I mean, Ruxin34 worked hard to get to where he is and invested his money into building his channel to where it is today. Charlie was in the T.V. series Game of Thrones and made millions of dollars there and can afford to buy every card that ever existed. That is not talent, anyone with millions of dollars can accomplish what he did. People like him, Logan Paul, Logic, and Gary Vaynerchuck are the reason why card games are getting so expensive, they use their celebrity status to artificially pump up prices and price people out of the market. I wish that those millions dollar celebrities could leave us middle class and poor people alone to enjoy what little stuff we have left!

This is an amazing collection. I don't have enough money to collect the old cards or even some of the new stuff coming out so I am only collecting speed duel. I'm so glad nobody is paying attention to it so I'm buying a bunch of stuff really cheap compared to regular Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I'm getting an entire collection of tournament pack 1 speed duel cards x 3 soon.

I think the rarest misprint is the blue eyes sdk and sdy dark magician 1st ed that are printed on the backs of each other. Ive only seen one ever. Also there is the original ocg 1st starter deck blue eyes with a misprint secret rare lettering

I think the rarest misprint is the blue eyes sdk and sdy dark magician 1st ed that are printed on the backs of each other. Ive only seen one ever. Also there is the original ocg 1st starter deck blue eyes with a misprint secret rare lettering
